Reminder that most of the protests had been peaceful and had been orderly. These violent incidents are not representative of what is happening in the majority of the Manila protests right now and if anyone tries to say that this is 100% what's happening everyone they are either grossly misinformed, have an agenda, or just actively lying to you.

Most of the people there are organized and represent specific groups, organizations, and communities. These communities are well aware that if anything violent were to ensue from the protesters, the protest would not be heard in the way it was meant to be.

Members of these groups from institutions are strictly prohibited from bringing any object that may count as a weapon. Wearing hoods and facemasks or anything that may obscure their face is also highly discouraged and/or prohibited in other groups.

These people came to be heard and are under the protection of the law in their acts of protest. Do not generalize the thousands of people who came together for a peaceful rally into this incident. The group that started provocation are unaffiliated with any of the organizations that marched today.

Please keep yourselves informed and make sure you're sources are veritable.
