Ugh "this might be very hard for you to understand but some people are failures" that line punched me in the face and the heart, I think because I feel like I've been screaming it (not literally) at people for my entire adult life. Ryland Grace of course is, in fact, as far away from a failure as you can possibly be (and also not real); the irony of this resonating so much with me every time I think about it is not lost on me lol.

The worst thing is... I still secretly hope I'm secretly capable of amazing things and will eventually do them, like a main character, and I'm going to keep being disappointed, and disppointing, for my entire life. Feeling a bit sorry for myself but carrying on regardless haha
