MARTIN SEPTIM/SEAN BEAN I'M COMING
Used an AI to generate fantasy art for the cities/places in the games. Pretty impressed with what it came up with. This is part 1.
@ Todd, what’s your address, I just want to talk
skyrim is incredible because its the kind of game where you can kill like five extremely high-ranking members of the empire and it changes literally nothing about the civil war going on half an hour away
YOU. YOU GET IT

the elder scrolls v: skyrim 16/∞
if anyone wants it, here’s my “handwriting-friendly” version of the daedric alphabet– these glyphs share similar motions/parts (like roman letters do) so they can be written faster & memorized easier than the default font lol
was telling my parents about a glitch i got in skyrim once and they were like ‘well did you report it to the people who made the game?’ and like. imagine if we all reported every bug in skyrim. we’d break bethesda
I saw the hot Elder Scrolls ladies quiz and the hot Elder Scrolls men quiz and I felt like we needed a hot characters of any gender quiz, so here it is. Slightly not sfw.
skyrim guard: is that... fur? growing out of your ears?
my khajiit dragonborn:
skyrim really wasted lycanthropy on the companions questline.
idk i envision like, lore for a unique regional method of lycanthropy in skyrim thats loosely based on irl berserkers, except its in-universe so its like groups of warriors who pledge themselves to hircine and are tenuously socially accepted in some traditions. and its technically the same as other lycanthropy but has a lot of ritual surrounding it and history as a martial tradition, to a degree where people distinguish berserkers from just “feral” werewolves terrorizing people.
ok making up lore on the spot
“berserker are a known but seldom spoken of aspect of nordic culture, that can be traced back for thousands of years. it is thought to have derived both from the atmoran animal cults, and from cultural cross-pollination from the ancient men of northern tamriel.
these are warriors who consort with hircine, regarded in some traditions as a testing-god and brother of kyne. a berserker is said to be initiated through a test of great strength, speed and skill, in which they hunt and kill some great beast (bear, boar, or wolf) that is the game of hircine. should they survive (and few do), they are said to present the skin to the lord of the hunt and are blessed with his gift.
from then on, they gain the attributes of the beast, and take its form in battle, something they are believed only capable of doing while wearing their skin. even when in human form, they are said to fight as if in a trance and with little regard for pain or injury. their transformations are heavily ritualized, and often involve special hallucinogenic salves and medicines that are believed to ease this transformation and increase their prowess in combat.
berserker are feared, but generally respected and seen as distinct from wilder werebeasts. they control their transformations, and are not subject to the same animal impulses (though they are known to have violent temper). kings and jarls in the old days would often even be accompanied by a bear, boar, or wolf, known to be a berserker in animal-form. the practice has been greatly reduced under imperial rule and by cultural shifts over the milennia, but not eliminated altogether, with certain bands of warriors preserving the tradition and its rituals.”
