mr pages is truly one of the characters ever

it is an alien space bat. it is in charge of censorship. it loves paperwork soso much. it collects smut. it is a fan of the worst poet in the neath. no one can tell what it's saying half the time because it's constantly making up words. it goes into public spaces and rants at everyone about "modern literature". it personally killed oscar wilde. it loves the classics and shitty pulp lit equally. it hates its bat coworkers. sometimes it censors books just because it wants to have them. it writes under a pseudonym that it thinks is secret but literally everyone knows about it. it is canonically the most dateable master of the bazaar

I've seen multiple artists draw each Curator as a different bat species, and I wanted to give it a try!

The first space bat in the saga: Mr. Pages as an Aba Roundleaf bat (lat. Hipposideros abae)!

I've embarked on a quest to draw every Master at least once! I have no clue how long that journey will take me, but I'll do my best!

I didn't go too crazy on the species choice for Pages, I just knew that it was friend-shaped :)

I really wanna get the characterization right, and I'm not sure if the second drawing is entirely true to its personality, since I haven't seen a lot of its dialogue - but smiley Pages heals the soul, so it's allowed this time

Also, did you know that the noses of different bats of the same species don't seem to be the exact same?? I didn't know that until I attempted to figure out the Aba Roundleaf's nose and found out that none of the pics matched up, because of the minor differences in each individual bat.. (I had to give up and just approximate the shape :') )
