Ok hi sorry for the first strange post on this blog. But I’m Sax, I’m a digital artist who loves drawing horror and other weird shit, I also make some art and music for small indie games on Newgrounds and Itch.io when I have the time.

I will be honest and say I’m like a lost Victorian child since I have never used this site before so I apologize if I accidentally do stupid stuff. That being said I look forward to using this site and having fun here!

Originally made this for a game jam about 6 months ago, but things didn’t work out. I just had a rough 1 min version of this song sitting on my computer. So, I figured I should finish this up before I start posting my newer stuff. Not the happiest with the ending, but eh at least it’s something you know.

Was playing Bully and I saw Zoe and Mandy basically meeting up in secret on the same place but... they changed plans the moment I got close to them. I didn't manage to take screenshots but... this is how the scene happened (with a bit of my imagination XD).

Friends are coming over today and they want me to play silent hill F, so they can see the story. And I got a new job at a fancy Korean BBQ place that actually has tips. Dude life is worth living!

Update: accidentally played two hours of No-skin while my friends watched ddhdhgdhdfth. One of them tried out a run, first time playing it, and she got Root’s ending. Afterwards I made it to the entrance of Sakuko's boss arena.

The great thing about getting people who have not interacted with a piece of media you like is seeing their different interpretations and takes on stories and characters. They both brought up how Shu and Hinako have pretty much reversed their gender roles, as seen with how they interact with each other in the cutscenes. One of them now has a headcannon that Shu could possibly be transfem. Which you know what it’s a HC I never really heard of. I wonder how their thoughts on Shu and other characters would change the further we are in the story (just doing basic ending right now)

Taking a small 10 min break from finishing up my midterm project, making a weird ass funky car lol. Anyways I think it’s pretty apparent of my inspirations when it comes to my 2D art, but when it comes to 3D stuff I have a very specific vibe/style I would like to achieve someday, not full on copy ya know, and that is the game Garage bad dream adventure.

Garage is a surrealist point and click game made in 1999, only available in Japanese but in 2022 it got a remaster, which is how I discovered it.

Anyways it’s an old game but I think it’s quite beautiful with some of its environments. I really need to study these models a bit further when I get a chance, although I see myself working in 3D as something a bit more stable (getting work) at least compared to my 2D art, I still gotta make that weird shit. And god damn Garage is definitely good inspiration and a bit of small motivation to keep myself going with school.
