After Owl Eda immobilized the Emperor’s Coven that invaded her home and hurt Luz, she was able to take her family to a desolate part of the Isles. Eda gently placed them on the cliffside where she growled softly with concern.

Amity was able to heal the human she deeply cares for with Owlbert’s help. When Luz came through, she sobbed hugging, thanking Amity for saving her life; however her heart broke with guilt to see Eda in a state of what seems like no return. Overwhelmed for taking action to try and heal Eda with a plot less than fool proof; she does her best to hug the Owl Beast with sadness but determination to find a way out of this agonizing situation.

Transcript:

King - Eda, are you still in there?

Owlbert - Hooo... (Warbles sadly)

Luz - Eda... I’m so sorry! Please don’t leave! We’ll get you back to normal!

Amity - Luz, we’ll figure out how to help her.

An unstable Belos, who keeps seeing his dead brother everywhere, is currently possessing Raine. And who is most likely to deal with Raine?

Eda.

Eda...who currently has short hair. And whose silhouette currently strongly resembles-

I want to see Eda just wreck Phillip/Belos for royally ruining the Clawthorne family as much as he already has. This time Phillip/Belos is putting Raine in the middle? It's one thing to see Eda mad when one kid is in danger, she's gonna absolutely flip when her significant other and her kids are in danger.

Phillip/Belos = WORST UNCLE/IN-LAW EVER!!!

Finally recently finished TOH season 2 crying half of the time

Here’s a companion piece to the one I did two years ago after watching the series’ first episode. So many things happened in between, and I wanted to show both the evolution of the characters and the story and of my art (I hope?)

Can’t wait for season 3!!! >O</

Okay, so after giving more thought to this post, not only am I convinced that Eda AND the Owl Beast sensed the Collector being freed, but this whole scene is actually has a number of very interesting details that could tie these two to the Collector.

As mentioned before, we’ve got this very noticeable transition to Eda’s eye, specifically her cursed eye, likely indicating that BOTH Eda and the Owl Beast sensed the Collector being freed.

Then there’s the interesting fact that Eda is not being drained like all the other witches, but instead is clearly being overtaken by the same deterioration we saw back in Eda’s Requiem. Combined with what we see earlier when Eda is disguised as Raine, it really gives the sense that something funky happens whenever the curse interacts with magic.

We even get this very curious show where it looks like Eda has been somehow containing the draining spell in her right arm, only to get distracted when she senses the Collector.

Which is definitely helped by the fact that the deterioration recedes immediately after Eda’s link to the draining spell is broken.

Finally, and perhaps most notable of all, we have THIS transition back to the Collector being freed: 

There is definitely SOMETHING going on/being set up with Eda, the Owl Beast and possibly even Raine all in relation to the Collector that we don’t know the context of yet.

(btw, the fact that the episode held on BOTH the ‘Eda cradling Raine with the split’ and the ‘Collector sigil being split’ shots long enough for me to easily screen-cap them without even pausing the episode really say a lot. They were dwelling on these shots)
