hiiii i usually refrain from making text posts here but i wanted to quickly mention: my OCs are not for public use! they’re not for your roleplays, theyre not for you to copy and paste, and theyre not for your OC inspiration mood-boards. I’ve been seeing a lot of people tag my (sometimes extremely personal) original art with the names of their own OCs, commenting about how “this is just how i picture X looking!” If you really have these sentiments, keep them to yourself, please! I guarantee 90% of artists dont want to be told that their OCs remind people of their own OCs or of existing fictional characters. It’s not a compliment, I promise you.

Anyway, here's my Limbus Company Sinner OC, Beau!! I had a lot of fun trying to make the art style as close as possible to Limbus', especially since I'm such a semi-realism artist and very rarely touch anime-esque styles!!

Uses "Holloa", a cane sword as his weapon, as well as a mobility aid!
Personality:
Very soft-spoken and polite, almost formal in most interactions.
Tries his best to remain positive and calm in dire circumstances and find some small positive going on around him as a life raft.
A little overly eager to please, even if it means he ends up injured or at a disadvantage, if told to give 100%, he'll give 110% and suffer the consequences after. It's what's expected of him, after all.
A bit aloof, very much prefers his own space, but never says no if he's ever asked or dragged into something. Kinda seems like he can't say no to anything.
Not an academic by any means, can't keep up with conversations with Faust or Yi Sang, but has an odd sixth-sense about when things in the environment are about to turn for the worst/something bad is about to happen.
If he thinks it's bad or dangerous, it's the only time he'll put his foot down and hard refuse something. It has to be BAD BAD for him to do this.
Lore:
A former Butler of District 20 (T. Corp) to the Gordon family, who he grew up working for with his mother and entered their service when he himself was of age.
Through no fault of his own, the Gordon family were forced to leave T. Corp for the health of the madame of the family, and the staff and estate are broken up and passed along, resulting in Beau's contract shifting to another family in T. Corp, the Earls.
The expectations and work of the butlers here is far stricter and more demanding then his prior family, and although Beau tries his hardest, receiving favor from some in the family for wonderful feats, Beau isn't free of struggle, though he takes comfort in Ginger, another fellow butler from the Gordon family who's contract was given to the Earls' family as well.
The chief butler of the family, Smith, is a harsh driver with many flaws. During one of Beau's tasks alongside Smith, he is forced to run and fight faster and harder then he ever has before, and in the frenzy, Beau's legs become injured, and Smith himself is killed, seemingly by Beau's own hand.
It takes too long for the Earls for Beau to heal, alongside the growing time debt for the seeming murder of Smith, and rather then pay it off or give time to Beau to heal, they decide to pass his contract off again once more.
Now in the service of a syndicate known as the Livery, Beau's work is contracted out to whomever petitions the Livery for hands and warm bodies, resulting in a mismatched, callous set of jobs that range in difficulty and intensity.
One contractor, a man named Jerry Barker, takes a liking to Beau, and requests him for his work frequently. For once, Beau finds comfort in work that is more like his old home with the Gordons, although it is tiring and more laborious then his work for the Gordons.
His work for Jerry puts him into contact with Ginger once more, who's own contract fell into worse and worse hands as the months passed. And worse still, their new roles result in them directly clashing in the defense of their respective masters, leading to Ginger's death at Beau's hands.
Brokenhearted and exhausted, Beau's fate turns worse still when Jerry falls greatly ill, resulting in Beau's work for the Livery turning to other employers once more, fatiguing him more and more, resulting in more slip ups, more injuries, and ultimately, more casualties that reflect poorly on the Livery.
His contract once more comes up for a changing of hands, and this is where Limbus Company is the one to pick it up from the gutter. His services and talents now serve that of the LCB as Sinner #14.
Character Relations:
Gets along quite well with Hong Lu, Meursault, and Yi Sang personality wise, he appreciates the quiet nature of both and their insights about the world around them.
Knows Don Quixote means well, but she's a bit loud and overwhelming for him, though doesn't hold it against her.
Ishmael and Outis intimidate him quite a lot, and he tries very hard not to end up in their crosshairs.
Unfortunate victim of being pulled into situations by Rodion, always just smiles and goes along with it even if he's anxious or not happy about it.
Quite fond of Sinclair, enjoys helping teach him and encourage him to grow and improve.
Heathcliff reminds him very much of Ginger, resulting in a bittersweet sentiment towards him.
Ryoshu scares the hell out of him, and he always stays exceptionally polite and formal to her to stay on her good side.
Appreciates Gregor's vibes and attempts to smooth things over even if it doesn't go well, and will always make a remark of appreciation towards him for it.
Can't quite keep up with academic conversations with Faust or Yi Sang, and tries not to interject too much when one of the two is speaking.
Very polite and respectful towards Dante, really tries not to make their job harder then it already is.
Greatly respects Vergilius and rarely contests him, as he is associated with his own contract being held by Limbus and thus his word is law.
I'm DMing a new cosmic horror wild west 5e game and holy shittttt my players are fantastic and had so many cool interactions with my NPCs. This one was my fav, mainly because it was just them bullying the fuck out of one of my DMNPCs who was in fact planning to kill them all!

yvain's trauma about their sire flared up REAL BAD in our last session of our chronicle, and they wanted to keep their situationship tremere and ghoul in their private bunker so their sire couldn't take them away <3
ignore the fact their sire just killed the previous prince and is trying to establish his claim to princedom over the entire city so idk if they would have even been safe at allllll
thank god for Cody, yvain's ghoul thinking on his feet and unlocking the bunker doors quietly for the coterie to come in and stop this whole crashout
