DDV!Sweetjane makes sense to me as a form of her modern au. Maybe she's dreaming and wanting to go back to simpler times of her childhood because her genetic disorder (Chedial-Higashi) has progressed to lymphoma. She's also dealing with the recent death of her husband die to drunk driving. It's just soo much.

While Fallout is horrible with its portrayal of Indigenous Americans, Black people, and East Asians, I'm glad that the only stereotype of Rroma is gadzi drug addict that's helpful in her predictions.

But you know I don't really read Mama Murphy as Romanichal??? There's plenty of psykers throughout the franchise, she just reads to me more as "hippie" stereotype. While she does predictions, she's never stated it as a job she performs. She's associated with a traveling band of refugees more than a constantly roamingly band of performers and scammers. Before the Quincy Massacre it seems as if she was mostly settled.

Not every fortune teller is a romani stereotype, what's harmful is only associating rroma with being magical fortune tellers (and drug users).

Scooby-Doo is a dog who can talk, which is amazing, and he largely uses his powers of speech to communicate how scared he is of ghosts and monsters, and basically the only thing his owners do is drive him around the country putting him inside various haunted houses and such.
