Our Homeland in pain. A month has passed since war began and today it continue to spread the blood and pain. But from the blood that our killers shed to our land will be born the nature again. Every leaf, every sound, the weather and even the flowers - all will be agains cruel people who want to destroy our nation and take off our freedom.

The nature will be the weapon that Ukraine use. And everyone who wanted to take her land from her will be buryed here.

The Motherland will not forgive the deaths of her children.

Her blood will be part of new life that will bring spring. There comes a new day, painted in red, where we believe in Ukraine and our power to choose our future.

We choose peace. We choose freedom. We choose Ukraine.

I drawed her about 4 days... I'm slow and air-raid warning didn't making it easier. But I like the result soo much 📷 This is my first complete portrait during the war, the personage is mavka (ukrainian mermaid analog).

At second week of war I made a decision that I need to practice... and art really is helping me now.

«Golden Leaf» means a pure victory without pain. A victory that will never happen when you cover your way with other's blood and pain.

Gold is the metall that will stand against corruption, and leaf is the freedom that given to us by nature.

My first complete work!

It is my original character - fallen muse named Arnella. Her name mean "eagle" and its very symbolic for her fate - she fell in love with blind archer and left the forest where she lived. Arnella was a ballad muse who like adventures and poetry.
