Hi, my name is mahmoud . I created this fundraiser to help my family from Gaza. My familyās home is in Gaza City. They have been facing extreme hardship in Gaza since October 7th, having been displaced from their home four times. The army ordered them to flee to southern Gaza, ending up in a small tent sleeping on the floor. They lack clean drinking water, which leads to severe stomach pains and diarrhea. The war and blockade have made it difficult for them to obtain basic needs such as water, food and clothing.
To make matters worse, they were displaced in the winter, living in a plastic tent that offers little protection from the cold, rain, extreme heat and onset of summer. They lack bathroom facilities and can only shower very rarely with a bucket due to the lack of water. Food, when available, is cooked over firewood, resulting in unhealthy and unpleasant-tasting meals. They never imagined a life like this. The war took away their comfortable home, leaving them to suffer on hard floors in the cold. My fatherās back problems were exacerbated by sleeping on the floor, with no access to painkillers. Your donation and sharing their story will greatly help them meet their basic needs for food, medicine and necessities, as well as help cover their transportation costs.
