We have a bit of a moon moon thing going on when it comes to family.

Mother: Mor (old term, usually called mamma nowadays) Father: Far (also an old term, usually called pappa)

Grandmother on our father’s side: Farmor (father mother) Grandmother on our mother’s side: Mormor (mother mother) Grandfather on our father’s side: Farfar (father father) Grandfother on our mother’s side: Morfar (mother father)

Still pretty logical, right? Then comes the children and the grandchildren. There’s some serious moon moon going on here.
