Okay, i'm finally doing this. This is really difficult for me because I cringe a lot at this ocs story, but I love him too much to just scrap him and never show him to anyone. So let me tell you the background of my cringe baby Gabriel:

When I was still very new to the Castlevania fandom a friend and i wanted to make a Castlevania roleplay, back then I didnt know that much about Castlevania jet and I had one big missunderstanding,

i thought that Dracula gets reborn instead of resurected (wich makes no sense because he is a vampire and rebirth is a religions thing but yea) so I thought every Dracula is a different Dracula just with the same power, kinda like in the legend of zelda, and Gabriel is one of those rebirths wich back then I thought wasnt that special because Dracula gets reborn so much that if I claim one of those rebirths it would be pretty inconsequential, I just dont let him do anything that would affect the story in a big way and that would be finde then,

well now I know that Dracula does in fact not get reborn but resurected instead and now Gabriel is indeed a problem, because now he kinda is a random dude that has the same powers as Dracula and that is not inconsequential at all,

so i had to rewrite his story without throwing everythibg out the window but also keeping him as unimportant to the story as possible, so now history goes like this:

His human mother got cursed by a Dracula cult after Dracula died the first time, back then they just wanted someone with the powers of Dracula and not necessarily resurect him, so Gabriel was born as a vampire (wich doesn't make much sense either because do vampires even age? Dracula seems to age) got cast out of the village at a joung age, was brought to Castlevania by the cult und learned all the Dracula stuff from them, but he obviously never had Draculas hatred so after a while the cult noticed that this doesn't make much sense, that Gabriel is useless and that they need to resurect the actual Dracula, so they killed Gabriel and resurected Dracula and never tried that method again.

(Also, the fact that his name is Gabriel has nothing to do with Lord of Shadow Gabriel. it's just a coincidence)

So please dont hate my cringe baby Gabriel too much, I love him, I love to draw him, he is very easy to draw for me because he has all the features that kinda just slide out of my pen like nothing, he is my comfort oc and I will most likely post more of him in the future♡

It was easy to imagine the sense of awe his mother must have felt seeing Dracula's laboratory for the first time. Lights illuminated countless rows of work stations—all filled with delicate flasks and beakers, neatly organized jars of various powders and fluids and specimens, and equipment ranging from burners and scales to microscopes and centrifuges. Bookcases lined the upper level, and the smooth tile floors gleamed beneath Adrian's feet as he made his way down the center aisle and up the steps to begin his search.

His father had charted the stars for centuries–his earliest writings on the subject signed Mathias Cronqvist rather than any variation of Vlad Dracula Țepeș. He'd studied the ways new stars could appear, how old ones could fade away. Theorized on the processes that made it all possible, and begun developing models to replicate them. Four hundred years later, it had all culminated in a project dubbed the solar catalyst—a machine that would recreate all the right conditions for birthing a star, right here in the castle’s laboratory.

Some traditional art, the quality isnt that good because i draw on A7 paper or even smaler i think

Another old drawing, this one is of my favourite fire emblem character, i had so much energy for art back then, i wish that energy would come back

I still realy like this drawing, I'm thinking about redoing the shading, to see how much I have improved

My first gaming crush, i love it that he slaps you when you put your sword away, so i drew it, this is also an older drawing but i also still like it

Also I drew him with his black arms because I very much appreciate them, i absolutely agreed with him when he talked about how perfect his arms are

This was a commission, its realy old but for some reason its still one of my best drawings to this day

I also cant decide if i like the shaded one more or the flat color

I was talking about Ds perfect hair with a friend and at some point this happened

On the bottle it says

This was horrible to translate because a lot of it was just marketing nonesense

A little background to how this came to be, i am realy reaaaly bad at remembering names, i think i only managed to remember his name in the last few episodes of the first season, untill then i kept calling him oropax wich is a german earplug Brand, so then i made this

On the Box it says

This was a color chalange too but i disliked how it looked so i changed it to his original colors
