i just think that jasmin should look at other options. all the men in her life seem to be garbage... and a lesbian would GLADLY treat her with the respect, dignity, and reverence she DESERVES.

“Should I be worried?” he asked, a laugh leaving his lips. “I knew, Elise. I think a lot of people knew.” It was in a way, funny to see Elise like this, The way she spoke as though she had discovered something utterly new – he would have told her to drink her worries away if he had known she could have been persuaded to. Granted, it wouldn’t help in the long run but if anyone needed a break, it was Elise. “Well, true, how can spending time with me be a bad thing?” he teased. “You haven’t – but that’s good because then I might have let my imagination run wild and think you were flirting with me.”
“Maybe. Have you really gotten that boring that this is worrisome?” Elise teased him. Really, it was nice to see him smile. To hear him laugh. That laugh was what she had missed more than she had realised. “Well, I didn’t! So why wasn’t I told? That’s on you, Nott.” She continued to tease him. It wasn’t that she hadn’t been drinking before; she simply never thought about no longer caring. At least, when she was drunk. “There you go. It would never be.” And so Elise moved closer as the music, the strangers surrounded them, bringing them closer. There was no one else she wanted to have around right now. “Would it really be that bad if I was flirting with you? Or- if I did more than that?”

“Yeah, you’d be surprised,” Andromeda laughed. “Yes, third time’s the charm, apparently,” The girl rolled her eyes, “Theodore Borgin. He’s lovely and all, but I don’t think I have the right equipment for him.”
“Do you really think that?” Elise asked the girl. It wasn’t supposed to be a mean question; she could imagine it would be both worrisome and terrifying. “I haven’t really spoken to him, but...he seems lovely.” She paused then, taking a sip of her drink. “Then, surely, that just means you can continue pursuing what you want?”
Perfection is impossible. It’s unachievable and nonexistent. To the moment I realized that the only thing I could control is me and how I feel and react to situations, I felt peace. “I wouldn’t dare even entering here without a wedding present.” Elise insisted with a small smile, offering Sirius a wrapped up box. “Congratulations. To both of you.”

“Don’t make me beg you, it’s part of my duty to make sure everybody’s in high spirits.” The redhead smirked as she pushed the champagne glass into the other’s hand. “Drink up, we’re celebrating.”
“Don’t worry, you really don’t have to make me beg.” Elise assured the girl with a smile, picking up a champagne flute as it was offered to her. “Why’s it your duty, though? It’s a rather...interesting one.”
“Are you judging me?” she asked the other with an amused smile on her lips noticing them watching her just after she had downed yet another drink. “Tonight is about celebrating true love and free booze, right?”
“Have I ever, Jas?” Elise asked, feigning shock and disappointment as she approached her friend. Maybe there was plenty people talked about, but, at this point, she had learned not to listen. As much, at least. “Well, at least you mentioned true love first. That’s promising.”

“Why wouldn’t I, when you are behaving silly.” he said teasingly, “But I have to admit I like this look on you.” It had been a long time since he had seen Elise truly smile and have some fun, without having the weight of all her actions during the weeks she was cursed weighing down on her. He assumed it was the alcohol which was making her feel free, but he hoped slowly she will learn that she shouldn’t let the guilt of what someone else forced her to do control her life. “You do have to make up for so much lost time. It’s not going to be an easy task.” he said with a laugh, stepping closer to her as well, feeling at home with her, and all the noise around them only made it far easier to be lost in the present and stop thinking about everything else. “Well, I have been told often that I have a pretty smile.” he said, lips curving into one as he spoke.
“You haven’t even seen my silly yet.” Elise challenged him. With the alcohol flowing through her system just enough, she was more than willing to make a fool out of herself. It was the brilliance of being far away from everyone else; and when Stefan had seen so many sides of her, she simply wasn’t worried. “Who knew alcohol would be the way to go!” She grinned, resting her hands on his shoulders as they danced. And to think, all those years spent restrained, months spent succumbed to her own mind and guilt, when it took something so simple to forget everything. “You make it sound like it’d be such a daunting task, but both of us know that’s not it. You can’t even make it sound bad if you tried.” She teased him, keeping her focus completely on Stefan. Those were the smiles that she had missed. The simplicity, the charm- and she had missed all of it. “Have I ever said that, though? Cause I think I haven’t. It’s terrbile!”

Don’t freaking act like I’m the bad guy.” He snapped, shaking his head. “Don’t care if you’re 50, Elise, you’re still my baby sister.” The boy clenched his fists. “Having me act like this? You didn’t trust me Elise. Instead of coming to me, your family, you went to that shrivelled old prune and that could come back on me. I’m not a good person, Elise, you can’t be that stupid. Now they’re gonna be looking at me, and they could find out I killed a damn guy! You might be a damn trophy wife, but I might be locked up in Azkaban. Is that what you want? Do you wanna see me suffer?” As she spoke of Easter, Corban scoffed, stepping away. “Yeah. Whatever.” He held out his hands in mock surrender, before turning around and stalking off.
“I’m not acting like it! You’re the one claiming it!” Elise continued to argue. It was frustrating, and it was slipping out of her hands, and she loathed it. She loathed that she could no longer go to her brother, and that every conversation felt like walking on thin ice. “It’s not that I didn’t trust you! I couldn’t- I can’t tell you everything.” She couldn’t blame him for being scared, either. Yet she couldn’t calm him down, not in a way he would want to. Risking that was simply too much. “You won’t get locked up in Azkaban.I would never let that happen. Do you really think so low of me, that I would rat you out? After everything you’ve done for me?” Before she could continue on, however, Corban was turning around and walking away, and she was left by the lake all by herself, alone with her thoughts and fears.

A laugh left his lips at her words. “Yes, sure, I am the one being silly, my bad.” he said teasingly. He couldn’t remember the last time he had seen Elise seem this happy, and it made him glad to see that she was now, even though it seemed like alcohol was playing a major part in making that happen. “I actually can’t. The last time I remember you having anything remotely close to fun was I think at New Year’s when I forced you to go with me – and you didn’t even dance.” He could feel himself only smile wider though, as he danced along with her. “But this is good. I like seeing you like this.”
Elise faked a gasp before a smile returned back to her face. “Are you calling me silly? Rude, Nott.” She teased him back. Maybe she was supposed to hold back, and act at least a little more reasonable, but she wasn’t bothered. When was the last time she just got to spend time with Stefan? The past months had been daunting. Everything had been a mess, and now, with the two of them in a club far away from everything, she could just relax and enjoy his company. “Well then, how about I make up for that? It’s the least I should do.” She offered, moving closer to him as they dance. Crowds of dancing people surrounded them, bringing the energy, and for once, she loved it. And at this moment, she couldn’t find a better person to be here with. “I like seeing that smile on your face, too.”

“That or they don’t drink,” She mused, sipping her wine. “Well I’m now betrothed, yet again and this time to the man I love’s cousin, so I’m doing spectacular, honestly.”
“Not even non alcoholic? Weirdos.” Elise mused. “Yet again?” She repeated curiously, taking a sip of her own drink. She wasn’t really keeping up with Andromeda’s life, and it was a shame. “Who exactly is it?”

When he didn’t have to spend his time figuring out ways to get information on his mother’s death, Stefan usually spent his time far away from paces he usually hung out – which meant there was less likeliness of him coming across any of his friends. Except that was still what happened and Stefan had to laugh at the irony. This normally was not Elise’s scene, but it didn’t take a genius to figure out that the reason she was here was probably just the same as his. He headed over to her when she beckoned him over, swaying to the music as he spoke. “I have to say you’re the last person I thought I’d bump into tonight – what are you doing here?”
It felt like day and night; their last conversation was so sombre, so dark, yet now, Elise couldn’t even bring herself to think of it. She didn’t want to, and with alcohol flowing through her system so freely, she didn’t have to. Instead, she pushed the stranger aside, focusing on Stefan as she continued to dance. “I’m dancing, silly.” She teased him, watching him as he moved closer. When was the last time they just messed around, and actually acted young? She couldn’t recall them ever doing that. “Why not? Can’t you ever even picture me just dancing around, enjoying myself?” Elise continued to taunt him. She wasn’t expecting to see him there either, yet, then again, she wasn’t expecting to find anyone familiar here. However, now that Stefan was here, she couldn’t even imagine letting him go.
Everything felt like it was spiralling, and the fight with Corban only pushed Elise to believe it was all slipping out of her hands. She had always considered herself to be close with the boy, yet, now, it felt like they were drifting further and further away with every passing day. She loathed it, yet attempts to fix it seemed to be impossible. So, with nothing else left, she found herself at one of the bars, away from Hogsmeade, away from Hogwarts. If she wanted to forget and let loose, she didn’t want to meet those who could prevent it.
It wasn’t long before Elise found herself at one of the unfamiliar bars. Alcohol was flowing freely, and, soon enough, she was beginning to relax. Stress was fading away, worries forgotten, and, before she knew it, she found herself on the dance floor, dancing with the strangers. Some were getting maybe a little too close, maybe a little too handsy, but a smile remained on Elise’s face, and she allowed everything to become a blissful blur. That was, at least, she spotted a familiar face, and her smile widened. “Stefan! Hey!” She called out loudly, to be heard over the music. “Stefan! Come on, join me!” @stefanxxnott

His eyes took a moment to glance around, noticing rather quickly he wasn’t in his own common room, before settling on the cup of coffee that was offered to him. “Yes, thank you. That would be fantastic.” He supposed by the fact someone else was awake and there was some light seeping through the window, that morning was here. Which meant he wouldn’t be able to catch up on more sleep before classes. “You are certainly not a bad sight to wake up to.” He commented as his eyes settled on her, only then realizing he might not be as sober as he’d hoped.
“I know.” Elise smiled lightly as she handed the boy a cup of coffee. Quite frankly, it was the only usual fix whenever she ended up spending long nights at the pub. Taking a seat on the armchair next to the couch Alastor was on, she took a sip of her own cup, her brows raising at his compliment. “Are you telling that to me or the coffee?” she teased him.

“Ah, ah, ah,” he said with a smile. “They have an oven–probably because some muggleborn wanted to cook with it–but not a wood-fired pizza oven! We all love pizza, don’t we, it’d taste so much better than now!”
“But wouldn’t we get the same result if we used magic on pizza?” Elise countered curiously. Not that the idea of a wood-fired pizza oven wasn’t tempting. She couldn’t imagine herself doing anything with it, though.
