My heart does go out to the families of the kids in critical condition from Evergreen High School who will be forgotten in all of this chaos.

There was a shooting at a Colorado high school at around the same time as Charlie Kirk was shot.

Charlie Kirk is dead.

I want to seriously talk about this.

I want to start off by saying that this was wrong. Hold on before you scroll away. Misinformation is bad, but ultimately Kirk was not the enemy- his support of organizations that did wrong things was bad but certainly did not warrant an assassination.

When Brian Thompson was killed by Luigi Mangione, I thought it was just. Thompson led a giant corporation, United Healthcare, which profited off of letting people die or go bankrupt. Charlie Kirk was not. We remember when, after Thompson died, the right was eager to blame or condemn anyone on the right for it. Now? Their golden boy debater? They’ll be coming for everyone. Democrats. Activists. Higher education. Anyone who disliked Kirk is on the block now. I ask anyone on the right who sees this to consider who is at fault- the people celebrating out of blind loyalty to a side, or the person who actually killed him.

And so I ask the left. Please do not celebrate this. This is not slaying a tyrant, this is killing political opponents. Be careful about what you support in this- do not celebrate death just because Kirk was a major Conservative figure.

Just found out Charlie Kirk was shot

I just received the news regarding Charlie Kirk getting shot at a University of Utah, and some of the comments and thoughts about it left me speechless.

We're talking about a father, husband and most important of all A HUMAN BEING, and while I might not agree with him on ALMOST ANYTHING I still believe that he did not deserve to be shot, and his children didn't deserve to watch their dad be shot in fromt of them.

"Guys this isn't funny, what if he's okay?"

This is just one of the many comments I've read about the situation, and I'm truly grossed out.

The only funny thing right now is how y'all be preaching about human's right, and then you joy facing death... Is that what you mean when you say that every life matters? That only the lives of people that agree with you are worthy of existence? This does not sound very different from what you SWEAR to be against, does it?

And then you quote his opinion about gun's right, saying that he got what he deserved, BUT you stand by women not being blamed for getting assaulted. HOW IS IT ANY DIFFERENT?

Please reflect people, you are so caught up in your cancel culture, so invested on SEEMING good people, repeating like a parrot what you hear on the internet, that you're actually forgetting how TO BE A DECENT HUMAN BEING.

(for clarification, in this post I DID NOT SAY that wlmen are to blame for being SA, I'm just trying to make a point. I DO ACTUALLY BELIEVE IN EVERY HUMAN'S RIGHT, unlike some.)

just to try and help the news be accurate, it was Utah valley university, not the university of Utah. UVU is in Utah county, which is a lot more of a red zone than salt lake county where the U of U is. Also UVU is one of the most conservative colleges in Utah, which makes it more understandable that he was there.

There is something about owning a fine piece of clothing, jewelry (or really anything) that wasn't bought new. While for someone it might feel weird or even gross, for me it's the highest form of love, towards me, it, my wallet and the planet.

Being able to wear already used clothes, jewelry, accessories and read books that other people have read and loved -or hated for all I know- gives me this feeling of satisfaction. Knowing I'm sharing something with other people, strangers... I just love it, and my wardrobe does as well.

I cannot seem to find reading enjoying anymore. Until some time ago i used to read A TON of books, and it seemed to be my favorite activity... Now, when I try to read something it's almost as if I get bored by just the thought of it.

Is this the so called reader block? Or did I just lose the passion?
