Eyes are hard. Good enough for dnd shenanigans though. Trying to not be so hard on myself.
Working on a Hoshimi Miyabi figure for a silly DnD game coming up!
@sara-paints here you go!
WIP for the Myriacor Leviathan from pipermakes!
My quick take on Imotekh. Wanted to get him done before a game tomorrow, so bit of a rush job over the last couple of days, but had fun with it! Will probably touch up some of the rougher areas later.
I've entered the United Porphyria Association's art contest, and decided to write a poem as my entry.
Responding to the prompt surrounding invisible realities, misconceptions, and misunderstood experiences related to Porphyria, I drew deeply from my own experiences and merged them with the themes of cosmic horror. The genre has long resonated with me, and its atmosphere of alienation, dread, and incomprehensible transformation felt strikingly appropriate for expressing the lived experience of Porphyria. The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers served not only as a major inspiration, but an equally fitting allegorical framework.
This poem took considerable time to write and refine, and in the process, it became something of a personal excavation as well, having been diagnosed with CEP since I was just a young child. I hope you find some comfort in this piece of cosmic horror poetry, and I hope your journey with Porphyria is met with as much gentleness and kindness as possible.
If you have Porphyria, or are a caretaker for someone who does, I encourage you to participate in this contest and tell your story.

Knocked out my technomancer and skorpekh lord refresh the last two days. Bottom 3 are the old style from a few years back.
Wrapped up my Canoptek Reanimator refresh! The last pic is what it used to look like.
Had a lot of fun with Nekrosor, though I still struggle with nmm silver. Def need to work on my technique and recipie for it. Gold I feel like I'm getting down okay.
Decided to revisit my old Illuminor Szeras model and touch him up from his older paint scheme. Had a lot of fun revisiting him.
More WIP on Nekrosor
Decided to upgrade the Nekrosor's murder mittens.
I hate it when I'm feeling my lowest and someone asks me something along the lines of "Are you okay?" Or "How're you holding up?"
I hate it because the moment someone asks me that, I can't hold it back anymore, and I just completely break down. I lose all sense of composure at the end of that question and I can't stop the tears. I'm not mad at them for asking, it's ultimately appreciated, but I hate that I can't keep myself together with it. Because at the core of it?
I'm not okay. I'm not holding up. I am fighting to tread water on a daily basis.
So proud of my players getting through their first dungeon for my cyberpunk/fantasy dnd game!! Here's some shots of the boss arena and the terrain!
The premise was based on Destiny 2's Prophecy dungeon, wherein players needed to kill the knights (depicted here by the guys with swords and shields) to get them to drop motes of light or motes of dark, depending on if the players was positioned in the lit or shadowed part of the map, respectively.
For the sake of my narrative, these were dubbed "frames" and "counter-frames".
Each kill would net them three of the respective frames, and the players would then have to deposit them into one of three corresponding drop points. Once six in total were delivered, the point would lock down. Once all three points were locked, a portal would open in the center of the room, and players would need to go through said portal.
Once on the other side, the party would have to chase the boss down a dimensional walkway, dealing as much damage as they could along the way. On the first phase, my players did 257 damage total!! Not enough to one-shot it. But definitely wounded it.
They all had a blast with this dungeon, and I had a great time running it for them!
Wrapped up my Impulsor/Gladiator
There's so much more I'm sure I could have done here, but I feel like I'm at a point where if I keep working on it, I'm going to overwork it and wind up messing up things I do like about it. So, here's my completed* Nightbringer. Hope you like it!
