I'm absolutely obsessed with the shading/lighting on your Driver art, especially the jacket!! Have you got any tips or tutorials to follow that achieves that look? If not no worries, it's absolutely stunning art nonetheless, one of the best Driver's I've seen!!!!

I honestly had so much fun drawing driver in this one, especially his jacket!

I pretty much only render with a round brush and the lasso tool ^^ I think what feels the most important to me is making frequent use of the lasso tool? That way I get sharp edges on one side of the part I’m shading/highlighting and a softer blend on the other side. Hope that makes sense lol.

Exaggerated hues also help a lot for making the colors pop I think! As you can see there’s lots of browns and blues in the jacket, even tho the real jacket is mostly white/gold-ish? You can experiment with what works, maybe play around with some gradient maps or color curves on the program you’re working on! That can really show you what’s possible.

I’ll add the Timelapse for the rendering as a speedpaint here as well, maybe that will help too! I don’t know how helpful an actual tutorial would be because most of the times I’m also just doing whatever feels right, but I hope this is a bit helpful :)
