what the fuck is the deal with fanart and portfolios. like how come this guy is allowed to draw trees and furniture and people and other things that already exist but i can't draw Super Mario even if it has the most incredible and unique composition ever just because he didn't come from the Real World
i swear to god posting on twitter is actually so agonizing because of the character limit. it's like a breath of fresh air opening up tumblr and realizing i won't have to spend 5 minutes reformatting my post and replacing everything with stupid abbreviations just to be able to post it. i've already said this there but it's by far my most disliked individual feature on the whole website, and i absolutely think it's given people brainrot from not having to parse any block of text longer than 1-2 lines
sometimes i think about how conservatism is inherently an ideology made to appeal to proudly unintellectual people who are opposed to critical thinking
it's actually insane to me how the refusal to confront the possibility of change or new things is such dominant mindset

I know some people have been wondering "What the HELL happened to UMBRATALE?"
The truth is, it's pretty much been on hiatus for a while now. I generally lost motivation to work on the AU, especially considering how many aspects of it I was dissatisfied with.
However, I'm excited to announce that there's actually a revamp in progress RIGHT NOW! I decided to rethink several of the AU's roles, most importantly. This will mean that a lot of the existing tracks need to be scrapped - however, I think the long-term benefit of the AU just being better in general will be worth it.
I'm not yet going to say what exactly is being changed and what isn't - it includes some roles that were already shown off and some that weren't.
Regardless, I hope you all enjoy the new UMBRATALE.

someone needs to make an extension like shinigami eyes but for AI
for those unfamiliar with shinigami eyes, it's a browser extension that highlights someone's username in a certain color depending on whether they're confirmed transphobic or trans-friendly based on user submissions of posts and such
something like that for AI would genuinely be so useful. especially if it not only worked for social media, but stuff like news articles. having a way to identify at a glance whether something is already confirmed to be AI generated or not without having to think about it too hard sounds like it could be really useful
made these a few days ago, my takes on kris-aged frisk and chara
(uses the theory that chara is only pale in undertale because they're a corpse and that the unused chara sprites are more reflective of their skin tone while they were alive. just thought i'd mention that lol)
anyway we were making fursonas in a vc earlier so i made my own just for fun
(the sarse arse thing is an injoke its just a funny way to say "sus-ass")

this might be a kind of controversial post but i think its stupid how much fake leaks are glorified in some parts of the deltarune community. to me fake leaks are not only intentionally disingenuous, but the creator's way of saying that they think their art/music is so good that it's indistinguishable from actual deltarune work, and i think that's lame as HELL. i know people are gonna talk about fake leaks regardless but its just really fuckin annoying to me how often they get brought up when they have such weird motivation behind them
