@emilopia
I’m trying hard to live by Cat Principles: 1. I am glorious above all things. 2. Eat when hungry, sleep when sleepy, play when bored. 3. Affection is given and received on my terms and only mine. 4. Show displeasure clearly. 5. NO. 6. Demand the things you want. If they aren’t given, demand them again, but louder this time. 7. If you are touched when you don’t want to be, say so. If they continue to touch you, make them bleed.
Watch: If an angry bear was treated like rape, this is how absurd it would sound.
leslie knows my ambition in life
Flat mode engaged.
Let me be crystal clear: if you’ve faced a tragedy and someone tells you in any way, shape or form that your tragedy was meant to be, that it happened for a reason, that it will make you a better person, or that taking responsibility for it will fix it, you have every right to remove them from your life. Grief is brutally painful. Grief does not only occur when someone dies. When relationships fall apart, you grieve. When opportunities are shattered, you grieve. When dreams die, you grieve. When illnesses wreck you, you grieve. So I’m going to repeat a few words I’ve uttered countless times; words so powerful and honest they tear at the hubris of every jackass who participates in the debasing of the grieving: Some things in life cannot be fixed. They can only be carried.

Same.
Chiggers aside, Chesapeake Semester has been rocking so far. Just look at how cute this turtle and I are together.
Ok so I did not know what “chiggers” were until this past week and I really wish I had just been able to live in blissful ignorance forever because my freaking god do these itch. 0/10. Would not recommend.
And on Sunday its back to camping in the same place, so the nightmare has really only just begun (ticks and mosquitos are also abundant).
Me trying to avoid my problems.
Wow this is great
