07.15.21. i cleaned my desk for the first time in ages yesterday. i don't have anything glamorous to say. these days it feels so hard to do anything, but i'm trying.

The state of my desk after a day of studying for my Analysis 2 exam.

I’m so tired, by the time I stopped studying I couldn’t even understand what I was reading. Doesn’t help that my professor likes to explain things in a way that is almost incomprehensible to everyone except maybe people who have alredy taken the class.

I think it can be refreshing and nice but I much prefer the feeling of coming in from the cold! I've been raking leaves in the garden this morning to get over what happened in Washington DC last night and now I'm moving onto my next essay. X Emily

Different parts of my morning.

Finally finished with evidence law, going to dedicate one hour per day for its revision.

Making progress on tackling CrPC and IPC together. Relating the procedures to substantive makes it easy to retain.

(one wall of my room is entirely windows but I keep them closed cuz the only cons of living in a suburb is the dust.)

29.12.20// the holiday break looks a little different this year but I’m loving the time off to read a non-law (ish) book. I’ve got an exciting opportunity that’s come up this week that I’m excited about and I’m enjoying this time to get back into yoga.

I plan on refocusing in the new year and putting lots of energy into my thesis, but this time off is wonderful. Thinking of of you and wishing you the best 💕☕️
