I love you @tara-stofse 🤣 for lifting us up through these challenging times.
And I love Phryne and Jack for being such hot messes.
Oh holy wow @tara-stofse this is hilarious! Thank you for the laugh - you are spot on with those responses.

Best tweet I’ve ever read.
PREACH
See, she took the first picture ever of dna and these two guys had the audacity to steal it from her and take all the credit.
She took X-ray diffraction images of DNA, which was likely a contributing factor in her death by ovarian cancer. Franklin then died before she could be awarded any recognition for her work.
So not only was her massive accomplishment stolen from her, but she died to make it happen.
Unfortunately this happens far too often in science history. I think the only reason Madame Curie is even remembered at all is because she was married to the guy who would have otherwise taken all the credit. It’s really important to remember who made the proper achievements in science, not who found the person who achieved the progress.
Dr. Watson once came to my Uni for a seminar and everyone was absolutely flattering him, which was infuriating. He has some remarkable achievements, but it doesn’t erase the fact that, not only he took credit for someone else’s work, he also belittled Dr. Franklin, referring to her as a mere “assistant”.
Sadly, this is still a problem nowadays in science.
Love this tweet! There were so many women in science that were pushed into the background and men took credit for their work.

Thank you Emilia Clarke for your beautiful portrayal of Queen Daenerys Targaryen. Stormborn of the House Targaryen, the First of her Name, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lady of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm. Lady of Dragonstone, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons
Every time a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land.
