“ Friends. Right.” She mumbled with a frown before shaking her head at herself. This was not the time for her to go down that road. “ Fine fine. I could help you if you want?” She said shrugging slightly before a grin appeared on her lips, “ Excuses, excuses. Its kind of disheartening how not a single friend of mine missed me.” She said teasingly before crossing her arms at the girl, “ Like you said. Its my battle. You don’t need to worry.” She said trying not to react on Mulciber’s name. “ I will hold you to that— considering how you let me suffer in agony all alone.” She said dramatically trying not to giggle.
She shook her head, offering a hesitant smile, “no -- I’ve got this” she muttered, she preferred dealing with her problems by herself and the truth was, she worried that Marley’s temper would make it worst. She didn’t want to draw attention to herself. People were going to talk regardless of what she said or did. “Fine” she conceded, a frown still stretching her lips. She would be a hypocrite if she pushed the girl to reveal a name and accept her help when she herself wanted to brave this obstacle by herself. “Just -- be careful, okay?” she sighed, “don’t land your arse in the wing again!” `
