A guide on how to string a basic archery bow with pictures and description.
I'm pretty lacking in the muscular area. A bow stringer helps me safely string my bow without taking out body parts! The kind gentlemen at my local archery store showed me how to use a stringer before I purchased it and left; and of course, I quickly went home and forgot everything. Luckily, the internet exists and I was able to find this handy guide with just enough detail to get me through the process.
A collection of videos pertaining to a certain 21st century high school teacher for your archery and gaming needs.
I've found his videos incredibly helpful!
First artificial heart under developed for the last 15 years has received approval to undergo clinical trials. This is something I definitely want to stay in tune with.
Heautoscopic hallucinations
Heautoscopic episodes are hallucinations in which a person has visions of a 'double self' through which they can interact.
"I knew a very intelligent and amiable man, who had the power of thus placing before his eyes himself, and often laughed heartily at his double, who always seemed to laugh in return. This was a subject of amusement and joke, but the ultimate result was lamentable. He became gradually convinced that he was haunted by [his other] self. This other self would argue with him pertinaciously, and to his great mortification sometimes refuse him, which, as he was very proud of his logical powers, humiliated him exceedingly. He was eccentric, but was never placed in confinement or subjected to the slightest restraint. At length, worn out by annoyance, he deliberately resolved not to enter on another year of existence -- paid all his debts -- wrapped up in separate papers the amount of weekly demands -- waited, pistol in hand, the night of the 31st of December, and as the clock struck twelve fired it into his mouth."
Congrats
When I was 9, the birds stopped still in the sky and I saw the men that move between moments. They sang silently as they prepared the lake where my little sister was about to drown.

Who has never killed an hour? Not casually or without thought, but carefully: a premeditated murder of minutes. The violence comes from a combination of giving up, not caring, and a resignation that getting past it is all you can hope to accomplish. So you kill the hour. You do not work, you do not read, you do not daydream. If you sleep it is not because you need to sleep. And when at last it is over, there is no evidence: no weapon, no blood, and no body. The only clue might be the shadows beneath your eyes or a terribly thin line near the corner of your mouth indicating something has been suffered, that in the privacy of your life you have lost something and the loss is too empty to share.

I am not a fool. I will run from my fear, I will out distance my fear, then I will hide from my fear, I will wait for my fear, I will let me my fear run past me, then I will follow my fear, I will track my fear until I can approach my fear in complete silence then I will strike at my fear, I will charge my fear, I will grab hold of my fear, I will sink my fingers into my fear, then I will bite my fear, I will tear the throat of my fear, I will break the neck of my fear, I will drink the blood of my fear, I will gulp the flesh of my fear, I will crush the bones of my fear, and I will savor my fear, I will swallow my fear, all of it, and then I will digest my fear until I can do nothing else but shit out my fear. In this way will I be made stronger.

Just booked a trip to Portland, OR :)! Must watch all the episodes of Portlandia to understand the culture.

One of the best meals I have had thus far...
Gotta' start out right!
I’m not normally scared by works of fiction, but I simply couldn’t sleep after reading this tale of childhood innocence slowly corrupted by years of perplexing, terrifying events. Great writing—I highly recommend it.
Part 1 – “Footsteps”
Part 2 – “Balloons”

A must read!
Aaaaand I’ll be sleeping with the lights on for the next week.
Only great pain, the long, slow pain that takes its time...compels us to descend to our ultimate depths...I doubt that such pain makes us 'better', but I know it makes us more profound...In the end, lest what is most important remain unsaid: from such abysses, from such severe sickness, one returns newborn, having shed one's skin.. with merrier senses, with a second dangerous innocence in joy, more childlike and yet a hundred times subtler than one has ever been before.
