A super cool way to be an ally that barely takes any energy or time is to simply choose "prefer not to say" when forms, websites, accounts, etc, ask for your gender. REGARDLESS of whether or not you're trans or cis.

Doing so doesn't usually affect your account or the content you see or your likelihood of getting a job, and it can HELP normalize privacy in online and workplace environments and STOP "prefer not to say" from becoming just a codeword for transgender.

Unless the person or site asking legitimately NEEDS to know DO NOT SURRENDER PRIVATE INFORMATION. And the more people who keep their information private, the less obvious it is when the person doing so is trans.
