Anyone want to cry about Lor-zod’s death with me? I feel it was so brutal and sudden :(
The trend of “villain has a valid point but his methods are too extreme/evil/violent” is bad enough, why did media decide “Marginalized and violently oppressed antagonist rightfully standing up against oppressors has a valid point but his methods are too extreme/evil/violent” is somehow the newest, hottest trope to use
I'm willing to bet now that ive gotten attached to lor-zod he'll be killed in the finale because that's basically what happens to all my faves :(
I found a new problematic fave to stan and his name is lor-zod and no I will not take any critism thanks

I was certain I posted this several years ago, but intensive searching in my blog and in anywhere else here on tumblr pulled up zero results. Strange…
Anyway, on to the art: I created this work five years ago, 2017. It was made when we still had no idea what Adam’s face looked like under the mask, so I had taken some liberties and gave him scars as well as used a pine-green color for his eyes.
Some may be wondering why I chose that.
Remember the little idiom, “Green-eyed monster”? It denotes envy/jealousy, which all of us know he harbors. But aside from green, pine-green also has hints of blue. It is said that people with blue eyes are calm, loving, and always wish for the best regarding the people in their lives. As an officer in the White Fang, Adam had been fighting for his kin, doing everything for Faunuskind(or so we thought), and in the flashbacks that we have gotten, we saw that he was relatively calm(until he went a little nuts? lol). Sadly, the blue gets drowned out by the predominant green, and that, I think, tells a lot. I do think they turn red when he uses his Semblance though. …And of course, a few years later, I had to remedy that and make him look like what he does in canon:
