Though you guys might like to see some progress steps for my animation workflow.  1: Rough animation: At first I just quickly block in my poses based on my thumbnails and planing, the goal here is just to get some quick gestures in and to lay out the basic timing for my shot. 

2: Rough Tie Down: Next I clean up my poses a bit and start putting it on model, the idea here is to nail down my key poses and to refine my timing more, as well as add in rough for any minor overlaps such as her dress.

3: Tie down: Then comes the tie down, here I put everything on model, focusing on keeping all my volumes consistent, I also add in any secondary breakdowns i need and draw in most of inbetweens afterwards. I also refine my secondary actions and overlaps here, such as the movement of her dress, and the gainax jiggle. 

4: After the tie down, I go in and animate the hair and my effects. 

5: Clean up, this is the most time consuming part of the process, especially since I use so many variable lines, but with time and patience I got through it. Afterwards I add in any additional inbetweens I might need.

6: Final color is filled in and I added a gradient for her hair, and then I color my lines. I didn’t want to take this into after effect so I animated all the color transitions in her hair and eyes by hand here as well.
