Second: Kpop
I will always remember my first watch of a Kpop MV.
It was about 2008 I was young and naive. My cousin came at my house as usual. Yet this time she came with something new. Iāve never heard any song of kpop before that day. I had some Jpop stuff because of the anime, but that day was my first time. I donāt know if thereās some shawols here. But every true shawol knows what 2008 means to them. It was the release of SHINee- Replay MV. My emotion was over warmth. I though that they were so funny, especially Taemin with his hair cut and onew with his swag on cap. I was like: How it is possible that someone looking like this can get famous?
Soon enough, I completely felt in love with them. So much in love that I wanted to be like them, to sing like them, to dress like them and even dance like them! I can say that I knew all the choreography of that song and still know it. Introducing me with SHINee was the best way, they completely seduced me. I couldnāt demand more. SHINee was my first group, Shawols was my first fandom and Iām still part of that familly. Thanks to them kpop is now part of me, everywhere I go.
I could tell you how everything went after my SHINee experience yet the more important part is that kpop really saved my life.
I'm reposting this because miracle happened. I'm going to see my very first group who got my into kpop after 9years... SHINee World V tour. I'M NOT READY FOR THIS !
Does that make me selfish of not being able get over the new? I know people say that it was for the best of him, that way he could fully recovered from his illness. But i canāt⦠I canāt imagine Winner without Nam Taehyun.
Winner made me comeback into Kpop World. They made me love and accept who I really am, a completely Kpop Fan Lover. But now i feel so broken. I feel like my soul is empty like something is missing.
Winner will never be the same in my regards without Nam Taehyun as the 5th member. Even if I will support WOT4 and Nam Taehyun solo career, it feels so wrong to me to see them apart. I could have waited months for him to recover even years as a member of Winner. I never wanted him to leave like this.
YG why are you doing this to us, to them, to me ? This is too much. š
Kpop is not all about music. It's about sharing what we love the most with the ones we love the most. Kpop idols are mostly the best part of the industry of kpop. They share everything in their music ; personality, emotions, desires, love etc. Hearing a new like Nam Taehyun's just break my heart. Knowing that they are hurt at a point that they can't continue their passion it's too much to handle. I feel helpless for him. All I can do is to wish him to get better and support him by being by his side. Still, I really hope him to recover well and to be healthy. We need our Nam Taehyun, Inner circles needs you. From the bottom of my heart, please recover well. ā¤
Dosan Park, Seoul. Little things can be so much impressive. I felt like home.
Lotte World Mall, Seoul. What an impressive shopping center! One of the biggest that I've been in. You can find it everything from luxuries to essentials. It is truly a center who can take your all day long and this without doing the activities a parts that you can do inside the mall. A must see if you are traveling in Seoul and like to be a little freaky on shopping!
On Sunday 25th September, I attempted to my first Bboy show case in South Korea. An incredible experience to see how talend are thoses boys : The Jinjo Crew. Definitely amazed!
Bongeunsa Temple - South Korea A beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of urban life.
No more sushis
I unfortunately but tasty tried the sushi here. It was good in my mouth but my stomach didn't liked it so much. I think that's the disadvantages of traveling. Being not sure of what you eat might happened to you. That is just part of it!
Samneung Park aka Seonjeongneung (Royal Tomb). All I can say : A true beauty of South Korea.
Lost luggage, lost girl
Yeah, it happened to me. The luggage of my one month trip was lost by the company. Even if I didn't wanted this to happen, I brought a survival kit with my carry-on bag so I am able to survive for a week. And now, It seems that I am made for getting lost. The first day was acceptable, after all the tiredness and jetlag, it was official for me to get lost. But today, after all my planning and my pride I got lost again! I know I'm hard on me, let's see what tomorrow is going to be. Here from Gangnam-gu, The lost girl. jk.
After so many years waiting for this to happen, my wish was for the first time accomplished. We're gonna fly, fly ~
Alert: "Stressing out like hell"
Ok, my dream is becoming real in less than 7hours. Am I ready for all this? Am I doing the right choice? Will I be ok? ... I guess I have no choice than to embrace everything I'll be going through. Let's the good and the bad thing be history in my life. Wish me luck, Emily.

First step: Anime
The birth of my incredible love of Asia.
I donāt even remember how I got into anime but Pokemon was probably a big hint. You know, kids like funny stuff with cute characters, love stories, badass beauties, etc. Actually, animes are more present in our life that we know. But it truly start it when you want to see more.
So far I can remember, my first anime was Sailor Moon and was totally worth it. I couldnāt dream more about being a little girl with magic powers who saves the world. But then, it turned that I liked more action stuff and got to the one and only Naruto series. I was so fanatic of that series and I can say that Iām still are! Even if I couldnāt understand a word of there saying and couldnāt keep the translate in the bottom of the screen, I loved it.
I could tell you more about manga but I think there will be no end.
Still then, I am completely open to everything that nearly touches Asia. Even if it's anime, foods, music or anything else, nothing keep me away from something new.
Introduction
Hello world,
My name is Emily. I live in Canada and I speak French, English and Spanish.
Since my young age, I felt in love with Asian culture, but mostly with South Korea.
Now that I have the age and opportunity, I will travel for the first time by myself to South Korea.
This blog will be my thoughts, my fears, my loves and everything else that I will experiment in South Korea.
I wish some people will like it and share some experiments too.
Seen you soon, my beloved chingu.
