A new resource pack that I helped design (in collaboration with a friend who knows far more about programming than me) to improve vanilla horses.

Improves vanilla horse colors and patterns
Allow me to elaborate on horse colors below the cut...
Here's all the changes and improvements made to vanilla horse colors and patterns in this pack.
Darkened white horse to gray
Added black mane and tail to dark brown to make it bay
Slightly desaturated the chestnut texture
Removed the short stockings from the no markings creamy horse, and added pronounced black points to make it more obviously buckskin
Gray, black, and brown are all the same as vanilla
Added unique markings for white horses so markings are visible against the white coat, where the stockings horse is now cremello/pure white, white field is tovero, black dots is dapple gray, and white spots is leopard appaloosa (irl these are all quite different colors, genetically speaking, but this is minecraft so we're ignoring that)
Added unique shorter stockings for the creamy horse so you can still see the black fade on the legs
Retextured the white field markings to look less like a cow
Repurposed the "sooty" black dots markings to roan to fix black markings on a black horse being hard to see (also who WOULDN'T want a blue roan in their minecraft world??)
The black dot patterned creamy horse retextured into palomino
White dot patterned horses reworked into blanket appaloosa across all colors, with white given a leopard appaloosa pattern
This isn't a perfect match to real horse color genetics, where the base colors are only chestnut, bay, and black. The intent was to improve on vanilla horse colors, while keeping to a mostly vanilla feel so if you have a beloved horse in your world, it'll still be a similar color.
Saw this and i decided to make something with it, and well,,, Basically, I like to imagine that Herobrine, Alex, and Steve are actually gods, but they like to disguise themselves as humans for specific reasons. Alex and Steve often do it to see firsthand how the players' lives are going, while Herobrine is just there to cause terror and caos and scare players for fun, asdhsdaghasd thats all!!.
I’m going to sound insane for a sec but I feel like people are forgetting that casual players of Minecraft exist. The other day I saw someone talk about how no one uses mounts anymore because everyone uses elytra’s and it’s like HUH?? What are you on about bro 😭 wtf are you on about. Getting a horse used to be the biggest deal to me and it still is. Today I got into an argument about how Minecraft isn’t a game about colonialism because unless you choose to play as a colonist than it’s about love. It’s always been about love. No one is forcing you to make villager farms that’s all you man. I am just building a house and enjoying myself
a zombie pigman went through the nether portal and started hanging around the area since. i got attacked by pillagers and apparently one of their arrows hit him and he didn't like it one bit. didn't see it happen but now he's got a crossbow instead of a gold sword.
he is my buddy now and he guards the portal while i'm away
Here's a big project I've been working on for a few weeks: a phylogenetic tree of everything in Minecraft!
