Raised and trained by Garp taught you that the world will kick you while youâre down and going through that alongside Luffy taught you that there was good people. Even when Garp took you away from Luffy because of each otherâs influences in being pirates it didnât stop you from finding each other again years later.
And boy he didnât change one bit. His personality even rubbed off on you and youâre sometimes just as goofy but take people a little more seriously than he does.
When he found his crew you didnât exactly fit in with them, they were perfect for each other and you didnât see yourself moving forward on the going merry.
âAre you sure?â Luffy gave you those big doe eyes of his. âWe just found each other!â
You can see the hurt in his eyes but you knew it was for the best, this was his crew and he was on an adventure that didnât include you. You held his cheek and he leaned into your touch, âThis is your adventure not ours. Youâll do fine. You have a hell of a crew and youâll probably meet more.â You smiled gesturing behind him and he looked back, pride filled his chest watching his friends.
âBut youâre my friend and weâre supposed to be pirates together.â
When you laughed he frowned down at you, âIâm sorry Luffy.â Wiping a tear from your cheek. âItâs just we were children talking about being pirates and I guess my dream changed since then.â
He nodded in understanding, âWell, Iâm not going to stop you from following your dream whatever it is.â He claps his hands together and gives you a big hug. âPlease be safe.â He whispered squeezing you tight.
Closing your eyes, embracing your friend for the last time because you didnât know when you will see him again.
âYou too.â
When you both pulled away he handed you a paper, âTo remember me.â He smiled big and you giggled holding up his WANTED poster. âI will definitely keep this close.â
His toothy grin didnât falter and you almost wanted to cry but shook it off and hugged him again and this time he embraced it.
As the going Merry distance itself from the dock you were standing on you waved them all goodbye, holding back the tears.
You didnât stay long on the island as you paid for passage with another ship that were heading in a different direction. All was well until a storm brewed and harsh winds side swiped their ship, bringing it up into the sky.
There was no clear way to see where you were with the rains and waves swallowing you up. You struggled to hold onto anything, your last thoughts about your dear friend Luffy and hoping he didnât get caught up also. Holding onto a piece of the ship, lighting being your only source to give visibility followed by the roaring thunder, you trembled feeling sick from the seat water but trying all your might.
You felt yourself slipping in your mind, growing weaker and weaker by the vicious waves that showed no mercy. Mother Nature was cruel to its devil fruit users, surrounding most of the world with its one weakness. A game only the sea enjoys. The only thing going through your head was death and you werenât ready but what could you do? You were in the seaâs vice grip and it wasnât letting go till you do first. Vision grew faint and body grew weaker by the second, your life flashing before your eyes, your last thought of the people you encountered, if you only you lived a little more would you regret your death? Was this lifeâs punishment for not staying on the course that was laid out to you? Is this what you get not staying on the going Merry? Those last thoughts faded quickly as the sea took you into its arms.
-
You coughed out sea water turning on your side then back down taking in a deep breath. Chills ran down your spine as you laid there, cracking open an eye your vision was blurry but can make out a dark color ahead of you. With both eyes now open you saw it was the sky? Then a figure appeared into view and your vision cleared enough to make out a monkey? A small one and you sat up quickly screaming out holding your side. There was a big piece of wood lodged into your side. The monkey jumped back but its curiousity keeping it near you. It tilted its head at you and sniffed scrunching up its nose and rubbing it. You rolled your eyes, âOh sorry I donât smell good for almost dying!â You snapped and it hissed at you.
Confused you shake your head and feel the ground under you and its soft beach sand. Somehow you made it on this gloomy island and the sea changed its mind and spared you but couldnât leave you unharmed.
You winced touching the wood and looked around not seeing a town or any life on this island.
Swallowing nervously you attempted to get up but failed, grunting in pain you see another piece of wood straight through the side of your thigh. âOh fuck.â You whined and felt some tears prickle up. The monkey had gotten closer, intensively watching you struggle.
Not knowing what to do or if there was anyone here to call out to you laid there staring at the dark clouds that surrounded this island. This heavy feeling of dread weighed you down and you werenât sure if it was this island dong it or your natural reaction to your situation.
Taking a deep breath you refused to let it push you anymore so you gritted your teeth and rolled your weight onto your good leg and hopped up to the closest tree. Leaning on it you broke bits of the wood in your side and tore some of your shirt to keep it in place and did the same to the wood in your leg. You couldnât risk bleeding out on the beach.
The pain was unbearable but you managed to break a ranch off and turn in into a walking stick to replace your âdeadâ leg until you can find someone to help you. Awhile you were doing that was that curious monkey that you guessed was still a baby since it wasnât threatened by you. Was watching your every move in innocent curiosity.
Limping along the beach you took slow small steps to not risk falling and worsening your injuries. Even though the clouds blocked the sun you still had a shadow following you.
The jungle parallel to the beach was eerie and mysterious, strange noises coming from it and you didnât dare get close again. But that monkey was not afraid as it swung from branch to branch. You laughed as it sometimes missed and plopped on the floor but wasnât affected. âI would be careful for whatâs in those trees if I were you.â You said as you looked down and saw blood seep slowly through your shirt. Cursing to yourself there was a shriek that snapped your attention to the jungle and you couldnât see the baby anymore.
âOh no.â You said making your way to the tree as fast as you could.
Looking around when you passed the tree line the noises now louder but the monkeyâs shriek echoed around. You limped your way around and saw a glimpse of distressed movement and zeroed in on it. âIâm coming!â You shout to the monkey and had you thinking why you were doing this? It was stupid and reckless but you couldnât turn your back on the little friend you accidentally made.
A snake had gotten to it when the monkey was distracted with your voice and curled up around its body. Making your way to the tree you tried with all the upper body strength Garp taught you to use you managed to drag your body up to a thick branch the giant snake wrapped around. The poor monkey reached out as it squealed when you came into view, when you got your footing on a branch you reached out for its hand.
The snakes head came in to view as it had snapped at you and you pulled back missing its fangs. Itâs yellow eyes focused on you now, you breathed hard, âAlright fine!â You yelled as you locked eyes with it.
Its forked tongue slithered out watching you, waiting.
With a deep breath you focused on your devil fruit power as you havenât had much practice with it because itâs still so new. A small ball of light appeared above your pointed finger and gradually grew bigger, the snake saw and striked but you managed to send it at its head. The hit was direct and sent it back, its body unraveling itself and the monkey fell onto another branch. You smiled and groaned leaning against the tree.
Before you can gather your thoughts a deep rumble stopped just behind you. Looking back you saw what look like bigger versions of your monkey friend, and not just bigger but huge! You gulped standing still and they were all looking at you. The little one happily joined its family and you sighed, âYou mind telling them that I saved you?â
The one in the middle roared and it sent you flying off the branch and onto the floor, you landed hard, wincing at your wounds but you didnât have time to dwell on your own pain as there was a giant monkey after you.
With what ever speed you willed you sprang up and started running, the pain was unbearable and your ribs cracked as you panted.
Making it to the beach you didnât know where to go but you just kept going, from the distance you saw a castle? âWhat the hell.â It didnât look occupied but thought that was your best chance. Slightly changing direction you picked up your pace by a little but of course luck wasnât on your side.
Below the soft sand was a pointy rock and it had caught your foot which sent you flying into the wet sand. You landed into the shallow water now crawling away but that damn sea water was draining what life source you had. âHelp!â You shout weakly. âPlease someone help!â You reached forward grabbing sand as the water filtered it through your fingers.
Giving up you rolled onto your back, the group of monkeys not far from you, the water around you sweeping away the crimson blood from your body.
Vision going blurry the huge figures getting closer then they stopped and scattered away quickly. You couldnât move but felt someone approach you from the side, a glimpse of a human shape figure stopped just over you.
And just before you passed out you could have swore you heard them speak.
âWhat have we here?â The figured sighed as he titled his head. Then you felt the sensation of being lifted, your body running cold as blood stained your body and dripped over onto your savior.
âStay with me now.â His voice deep, but you were so tired. He continued to talk, telling you to follow his voice but it grew faint until it was black.
Ignorance is kind pt 4
Authorâs note: Hello! It took me forever to get around to writing this but once I did, I got it done quickly. Lots of angst and reader just isnât lucky. I hope you enjoy! I'm so sorry for the people asking to be tagged. I tried to do it but it wouldn't work.
1,100+ words? Idk I don't keep track.
Warnings: inevitable feeling of fear and abandonment?
RoronoaZoroxFem!reader
The sea air left a salty taste in your mouth as the wind blow your hair back, the warmth that surrounded you was comforting and nostalgic. You looked back at the kids of the family that have been housing you for some weeks. They were like siblings to you as you were 7 years older than their oldest. They quickly grew close to you and you welcomed it.
The first few days were a blur after waking up, you had many questions and the doctor tried his best to answer his wife also couldnât help much even if she wanted to.
The town that you called your home was small but resourceful, you at first hung around the doctorâs office since it was familiar but you sprouted to different areas of the island and grew accustomed to it. Though questions constantly was swallowing your mind about the crew that left you here you didnât miss them? After all you didnât remember them so how could you? Flashes of green hair do pass through every once in awhile but you easily shake it off.
You knew a part of you was missing but you also were thriving with a new life and you didnât feel out of place on this little island. What ever life you had was put on hold until you wanted to open that door. You gave up learning about that life.
âBoo!â The youngest of the boys jumped from behind a tree that you leaned on while watching the sunset. âAh!â You yelled throwing your hands up. âBas! Donât scare me like that!â You teased the boy but he gave a disappointed look. âYou didnât look scared enough! Iâm gonna have to come up with a better way of scaring you.â He said, evident about your lack enthusiasm but you giggled. âYou canât scare someone who doesnât feel fear!â You said with a âsinister toneâ.
âOh yeah? Youâre some kind of witch?â He smugly asked crossing his arms.
You looked away back at the sunset, âSure am. After all I was left here because Iâm too powerful!â You yelled the last part and darted out with your hands to tickle the child. He giggled and tried his best to run away but you caught up quickly and scooped him up.
âAh! The witch got me! Kai!â He yelled for his big brother and before you knew it another small human tackled you both down and all three of you rolled down the hill.
âSupper is ready! Come inside you three!â
The lady of the house as you learned her name to be Fatima alerted you all, she laughed watching you and the boys for a couple seconds then she headed back inside.
When you all stopped rolling you took the advantage to look at the stars as they slowly started fade into the sky. Sitting up with a huffed, you padded one of the boys on the head and signaled for them to head to the house. As you walk the youngest ran and jumped, easily catching him on your back and gave him a piggy back ride while the oldest latched onto one of your legs.
Out of breath with both boys on you. Managed to get inside through the back door and both of them quickly went into the bathroom. You lingered in the kitchen watching Fatima, she looked visibly stressed but you didnât pry and left before she noticed you.
The doctor still wasnât in while you all set your plates, the boys of course asked if theyâre father will be working late again and in a reluctant manner Fatima agreed and apologized on behalf of her husband.
âHe just wants to make sure that everyone is taken care of if they need it. Thatâs all.â She told them to reassure theirs minds.
You bit the inside of your lip thinking thatâs a lie but it wasnât the time to talk about it.
After the boys were bathed and read a book she closed the door to their room and turned around to see you with your door cracked open peeking out.
âOh ___ . You canât sleep?â She asked walking up to you. Shaking your head, something was bothering you but you dinât know how to ask without prying. âIâm fine justâŠâ you trailed off widening the door. Fatima Leaned on the door way. Worry in her eyes. âWhatâs wrong? Is your head hurting again?â She reached up but you nicely denied her with a smile. âNo. Itâs justâŠ.. I feel like such a burden and I see how stressed you and your husband are and I guessâ Iâm asking if everything is okay with you two.â You blurt out the last part, feeling wrong for bringing up your observation.
She smiled but it didnât meet her eyes, âOf course everything is fine. Why do you ask?â
You shrug, âYou seem more agitated and he seems to be distant lately. Especially he spends most of his time at the office. Iâm just worried is all. Forgive me for prying.â
âNo itâs okay. I appreciate the concern. Things are just tough right now. But it will get better.â
Her answer didnât sound like she was a sure but you nodded and said your good nights and closed the door.
You stayed until you heard her foot steps become faint and slouched to the wall. Cursing to yourself for even saying anything thatâs none of your business.
6 months have passed and youâre now fully on board of not discovering your old life. The little family that welcomed you was your priority, especially the two young boys that feel like little brothers to you. Life seemed perfect here and you couldnât picture the life from before.
Everything was perfect.
Until the town was raided over night by pirates. A hill separated the little house and town so you didnât see the flames that engulfed the town but the screams can be heard. Kai was the first one to hear it, he looked to his window that faced the hill and he can see the hue of orange in the night sky. He woke his brother up and ran to their parentâs room. Fatima and the doctor quickly became panicked as they rounded up necessities and the boys. âWe need to get ____. Kai pleaded to his parents and they nodded. From the kitchen window they can see a silhouette of people coming up the hill and Fatima looked to her husband who told her to get the boys into the jungle and heâll grab ___ and meet at the tree line.
It didnât take long for him to get you up and gathered out the door. You stumbled a bit but he quickly got you back on your feet. You barely got a glance back at the crowd making their way into the house as you used the night to sneak off.
When you got to the tree line the doctor whispered yelled to his family but he got no response. You can see the panic raising in his chest as he frantically scanned along the tree line but he spotted a couple of torches making their up.
âWe have to leave. Maybe they went deeper into the jungle.â You whispered to him using the bushed as cover. âMaybe. Letâs goâ
As you both made your way being as quiet as possible since the torches from earlier still were too close for comfort.
Snap!
You both looked down in horror as the doctor raised his fort slightly, a dried twig in pieces laid under.
âI heard something over here!â One voice said and more torches appeared.
Without saying a word you both booked it, jumping over rocks and large leaves and vines hitting your face. The panic that settled in your chest was now in full blown cardiac arrest. You couldnât think about your next strep you just moved and the doctor wasnât far behind you.
âDonât stop! we have to keep going.â He said breathlessly keeping up with you.
That was no problem till. You were met with a raging river. âWhat now?â You ask frantically looking around. He shakes his head. âJump.â He plainly answers. You gave him wide eyes, you followed the water where it cut off assuming there was a waterfall at the end.
âDonât think about it. This is our best shot.â He says to you knowing what youâre thinking.
âOh yeah? Drowning by waterfall. No biggie.â You sarcastically said. âLetâs just take the 40 foot drop like no big deal.â
âIâm sure youâve done worse with your old crew.â He amused but you rolled your eyes. âI donât remember so that doesnât count.â
âWell we got no choice.â He grabs your hand and jumps dragging you with him. No time to think you held your breath and the waters were aggressive and easily threw you over the cliff. For a moment you felt nothing then the hard smack of water was like concrete. You spun and swirled trying to grasp something, anything.
You didnât know which way you were facing you just went up and broke surface. The first deep breath was like heaven. Looking up you saw a crowd standing next to the river looking down, quickly you lowered yourself into the water not moving much as to not be noticed.
She they walked away you swam to the shore, gasping as you laid there. The stars were so beautiful tonight but here you were, tears brimming your eyes. Threatening to spill but you pushed the feeling down and got up to gather yourself. There was no sign of the doctor and you hoped e was just further down the river.
You followed the stream, looking out for him while also hyper aware of the people that were chasing you.
The jungle had many sounds and it was not comforting in this situation, you were wet, cold and extremely exhausted. You didnât know how long you were walking but you knew the farther you were from the town the better. You just hoped everyone was okay.
Waking up under a tree, the first light of dawn peeked over the horizon casting a soft yellow over you. Squinting with one eye open you sat up and for a moment forgot where you were and reality dawned on you. It was heavy and sad, and it took all the strength you had to get up. Your body achy and stiff from the cold floor.
Clothes were still damp so you hope being in the sun they will dry by mid morning.
Not knowing where to go you just started walking.
Resting on a rock you snacked on fruits you snagged off a tree some yards back and felt better now that your clothes were dry. Backing in the warm sun, the sounds from the night before sounded peaceful in the day.
A snap alerted you and you quickly got up, looking around for the people from the night before.
From behind a bush popped out the doctor with his hands up. âItâs just me.â He announced himself.
Relief flooded your body and you approached him with open arms. He hugged you back, tightly which heâs never done before. âIâm so glad youâre okay/â He said and you relaxed against him. âSame here. I was really worried when I didnât see you.â
You pulled away taking your seat back on the flat rock.
He stayed where he was, âIâm not a very good swimmer so the current swept me away. I managed to get caught in a tree that fell into the riverâ else Iâll probably be washed up somewhere.â He tried to joke but you looked down at your hands.
âIâm so worried for them. I hope the boys are okay.â You grimaced, feeling the tears prickle up.
He sighed, âMe too kid.â
There was a moment of silence between you two till he spoke up again.
âI found a cave we can hide in till we figure out whatâs going on.â
You nodded and finished up your fruit and offered him one. He took it and started walking in the direction of the cave.
He was right, it was hidden well behind tall thick trees, hard to notice unless you walked up to it.
You settled on a rock, rubbing your shoulders for comfort. âWhat should we do now?â You ask him as he stays at the mouth of the cave, looking out at the jungle. âIâm going to go look for them.â
âIâll come withââ you started but he cut in. ââno. Stay here in case they come by here and you hear them.â He was quick to say not giving you a chance to protest.
You sighed not agreeing with his plan but didnât have the energy to argue so you just looked away while he left.
The cave was damp but it comforted you that you werenât out in the open, you took the time to explore it a little to see how deep it was and it wasnât huge but not a lot of hiding places in it. Peeking out you examined the trees that hid you and spotted a tree that had edible fruits.
Without a second thought you stepped out and gathered in case the doctor does come back with his family and you know the boys would be hungry.
Some hours pass and you saw that the sky was turning orange, your body managed to relax enough that drowsiness started to take over. You fought it as best you could but it was a losing battle.
-
It was a beautiful afternoon on the going merry, Usopp and Chopper chased each other around with âspraying gunsâ as Usopp called them being his latest invention. You laughed watching them then felt someone approach your side. You looked over at the green haired man you called your husband then down ate the chunky bubbly baby he held that was practically his twin.
He kissed you on the lips then pulled away with concern in eyes.
You tipped your head in confusion. âWhatâs wrong?â You ask reaching out to your family. He pulled away. âYou have to wake up. Theyâre coming after you.â You can see his panic and you only became more confused.
âWhat are you talking about?â
_He shook his head and you looked down at his arms to find the baby missing. âWhere is he?â You ask frantically looking around to see your crew surrounding you. They all stared blankly at you as if they werenât humans. _
_Not recognizing them you looked again to the man with green hair for answers. _
_âWhatâs going on? Whoâs coming after me?â His expression of worry has disappeared completely and he just stood there. âWake up! You have to wake up _! Get off this island! Find us! Find me!â He yelled stepping forward shaking you._
-
You snapped awake still in the cave but you can hear a group approaching the trees that hide the cave.
âIs that it?â One voice said. âYes. Behind those trees.â
âYou better be right or your family is dead.â
With caution you approached the opening and peeked out to see that they havenât gotten close enough to see the cave so you pressed against the wall and crouched into the bushes, getting as deep as you could to hide your body.
Two of the men went into the cave and after a few moments they come out.
âWell? Is she in there?â Someone from behind the trees asked.
âThereâs no one in here!â
âWhat?â The man snarled strutting into them cave, he was quickly out the cave and punched someone. There was a thud and the sound of a gun being pulled out. âYou lied!â
âNo! I didnât! I left her there and went straight to you.â
That voice, it couldnât be. Genuine fear bubbled upin your chest, you wanted to cry so badly. Was that the doctor? He led them here to you. No he wouldnât⊠would he? You couldnât wrap your head around the idea, surely he wouldnât just hand you on a silver platter like that.
You had no time to think as you were on your own now. You needed to get off this island by any means necessary.
Crouching onto all fours you slowly started crawling back under the dense bushes, thankful for the coverage.
There was a thud next to your foot and when you looked back you saw part of the crew staring back down at you. Not a second goes by and you squirm to find your ground but drag you out and pin you against a tree.
Your head hit the wood and you saw stars for a moment.
âWell, well, well. Look here boys, we got ourselves a straw hat.â
The men all laughed collectively as the man who you assumed is in charge walked up to you.
âYou didnât get far.â He mocked with a toothy smile that showed his gold teeth. Wincing at the arm pressed against your throat you looked down at the doctor who got beat up just moments before. He had a sad look in his eyes but you furrowed your brows at him and looked away.
The man stood proudly and introduced himself âThe name is Blackbeard and youâre coming with me.â
You stared at him dumbfounded as he had this stupid smile on his face and sounded serious. âOkay? Can I ask why?â
He laughed, âStupid girl. Youâre a straw hat and I need leverage for that captain of yours.â
You almost laughed while adjusting yourself against the tree. âDidnât you hear? I donât remember that crew and I certainly donât remember him. So whatâs the point?â
He stilled smiled but something dark flashed across his face, âYou may not remember him but he definitely will when he sees you.â
Holding back an eyeroll, âWhat makes you think Iâll go willingly along with your plan. Like I said, I donât remember my old life.â
It was his turn to laugh, âBecause of them.â He turns to the direction where the rest of his men emerge from the trees and throw down the boys and Fatima on the ground.
Your face drops seeing their state, it was quickly replaced with anger as you attempted to push the man off you to go after the man who you now know as Blackbeard. âYou son of a bitch! Let them go! They have nothing to do with this!â
He held his hands up, âDonât look at me! Heâs the one that bargained the life of his family for yours.â He pointed down at the doctor and you wanted to be mad at him but understood why he did it.
âAnd of course a little something sweet since his practice as a doctor isnât doing too well so he needed berries to pull himself out of debt.â
That piece of information isnât what you expected and certainly not finding out in a situation like this.
Glaring down at the doctor who couldnât meet you in the eyes, shame plastered on his face.
âNow that thatâs out of the way letâs go.â
Another man came up to hold one of your arms as they hauled you away, you didnât know what to say or do but you started resisting, pushing back but to no avail. Your feet dragged in the dirt, your body achy and exhausted from the past 36 hours. You passed the doctor, he didnât bother to give you the courtesy to look at you. When you made it to the shore you saw the ship and its Jolly Roger, the three skulls and cross bones caught your eye, the reality of your situation set in and tears finally spilled down your cheeks and you couldnât stop it. You wept as they hauled you on board and tied your hands back and around the smaller post.
Weeping with your head down you couldnât believe what was happening to you, tired and hungry was nothing to the betrayal you were feeling. You donât remember anyone from your previous life and who knows if this Captain was going to show up? He probably forgot about you and thatâs why it was so easy to leave you here on this island.
Sniffling you looked over to Blackbeard handing the doctor a bag of berries and laughing but the doctor didnât react just kept his head down. When the rest of the crew loaded up and started sailing away a scream was heard and everyone looked back to see the boys both Kai and Bas running down the hill towards shore.
You could see their little distraught faces and then confused looks towards their father. Fatima was not far from them and she was pointing and yelling. The doctor said something and she slapped him, pointing back at you. Their yelling quickly overcome by the waves crashing against the huge logs of the ship.
The boys started running into the water and the waves became violent the further they went, Fatima and the doctor arguing.
âNo, No no no. Go back! Kai! BAs! Please go back!â You pleaded to them, squirming on the floor.
âLetâs see how far they can make it.â One man joked and the crew laughed collectively.
You sneered at them, âWhatâs wrong with you? THeyâre just children. Please help them.â You begged watching the boys get further away from shore. âPlease turn around! You canât fight these waters! Fatima please!â You yelled at the top of your lungs, voice cracking.
Their little heads disappearing in and out of the water, âPlease go back!â
Finally they looked over and Fatima shrieked in horror as the doctor dropped the bag of berries and ran to the water.
You watched in horror as he struggled to catch up to the boys, they tried to reach out towards the boat but you were already too far.
The suspense of their rescue probably sent you back a few years but he managed to get them back to shore.
At this point you couldnât see details of their faces but could see them pushing away from their father and ran to their mother.
There was some relief knowing they were safe now and you relaxed a bit even with your hands around the post. The wind dried up your tears and stained your skin, the ship rock back and forth and you were to the point of exhaustion that you didnât care how uncomfortable or exposed you felt. You just wanted to sleep, tilting your head to the side you unexpectedly fell asleep.
Should I keep going with this story?
Yes, ofc!
No, wtf is wrong with you this is sheet!
How would one respond to, âr u enjoying the view?â When they caught you checking them out, in a funny/witty way? Lol
Can i pick any characters for that nonnie? I got some ideas.
Could I request a silly one shot of all smite x fem reader who absolutely falls in love with baby deku?đ€ like she's constantly coming over for visits but all she wants is to see baby deku that it starts to bum all smite out that she could care less about him and just wants to be with the baby. But after all the playtime and whatever, she does care about him, and he just loses his mind over how cute she is and just how "wifey" she is (although she is scary if anyone tries to hurt him or the baby)đ€đ€
Authorâs note: This was quick and idk what I would do with this. But here it is! Hope you enjoy! 600+ words?

Being a fellow villain had its perks, for example being able to be around the most protected baby in the whole world. The fluff of green sitting on top of the most adorable baby youâve ever seen with the cutest freckles and greenest eyes staring right up at you like youâre the best person in the world. Both you and baby deku stared at each other with sparkles in your eyes you couldnât help the grabby hands reaching out to you and you had to take that baby in your arms for a snuggle.
Behind you was a huff, âDonât start now All Smite. I gotta get my baby snuggles isnât that right Deku?â You said in a cheery happy voice as the baby giggled. He huffed again followed by a groan this time. You turned around to see the villain sitting at the bar with one hand cradling his head. âIf he didnât like you so much I would have gotten rid of you a long time ago.â
You rolled your eyes at the giant man, âOh please you tolerated me way before this beautiful baby came into our lives. If I remember correctly you went straight to me when you found him.â You said in that cheery tone again holding up Deku in the air and he laughed kicking his feet. âBecause he didnât know what to do huh?â You tease the man using your baby voice. It was his turn to roll his eyes as he reached behind the bar and poured himself a drink.
âI didnât panic. I just needed to ask a question and I assumed as a woman you would know about childcare.â He knew that wasnât true, he was just excited to show you what he found like as it was some treasure or cool nit knack but heâs forever grateful you didnât shut your door when he held out the baby to you. He knew you saw the slight scared and confused look in his eyes and you didnât say anything but step to the side so he can come in.
And since you are the only person he truly trusts around the treasure he did find you were now part of his treasure that he doesnât want to share.
At first he became very protective over his new son, afraid anyone could hurt him through Deku being the 1# villain in japan you still have to watch out for traitors.
But not you, understanding why he was suddenly acting like this you were patient and let him know you meant no harm to him or the new bundle in his life.
It didnât take long for All smite to let his guard down around you and with ease you quickly became the âMomâ of this little family. Before he knew he started admiring the way you interacted with the baby and became the favorite. He wonât admit it but he was a little jealousâŠ.. okay he was really jealous and he couldnât help the built resentment as Deku has not been around very long and it feels like you have him most of the time.
Hell sometimes you wonât even greet him just go straight into the nursery or wherever he placed the baby.
But this time he was watching silently from his place, you were teaching Deku to wave and place blocks into a box. Every time he did you cheered and he giggled clapping his hands together.
âHey what do you want for dinner?â
Your voice snaps him back. âHuh?â
You laugh repeating the questions and he shrugs, âI donât care. Order anything.â
With a shrug of the shoulder you went back to playing with Deku, this time placing blocks on your head and calling them hats. Watching you two gave him a warm feeling and he didnât know what it was. It honestly gave him anxiety and he started thinking about âwhat if?â
Heat built up into his cheeks and chest, âCan I ask you a question?â He asked from his place at the table. You looked away rom giving Deku a spoon of food. With a smile that made his heart jump you nodded. âSure.â
He swallowed the lump in his throat. âCome live with me.â He blurts out and you turn your head quickly. âWhat?â
âCome live with meâus. We work together so well for him and he takes a liking to you.â He says again. You stare at him for a moment and he almost was going to take back what he said until you spoke up again.
âSure. Why not. I get to spend more time with this cutie.â You pinch Dekuâs chunky cheeks and give All smite a smile.
His stomach is doing flips at this point but he felt relief flood his heart. Why was he so nervous to ask? Itâs for Deku of course so why would it affect him? He brushed the questions off and continued eating.

By the time the sun was rising Robin walked onto the deck, immediately Sanji and Usopp jumped up. Her hands were stained and her eyes dark from lack of sleep.
âHow is she?â Usopp asked first.
She didnât answer right away as she passed them, âChopper will be out shortly. Heâs just finishing up. Iâm just going to rest.â
They watched until another set of steps emerge. He was using a rag to clean himself up, grimace across his face.
âChopper?â Sanji said softly.
He looked to them with tired puffy eyes. âSheâs okay⊠for now. The first few nights are critical. Weâll need more supplies and medicine to fight the infection.â He looked above them to see Zoro standing on the top deck.
âI need to talk to you.â He addressed the swordsman.
He nodded to the doctor and followed him back inside.
They both stood in the hallway. Chopper visibly shaking. âHow do you feel about ___?â
Zoro raised a brow. âWhat do you mean?â
âDo you have feelings for her?â
There was a moment of silence between the two. âWhat does that have to do with her falling?â
âJust answer Zoro.â
âAre you asking for her? If so I can talk to her directly.â Zoro pushed off the wall and started walking down the hallway. âIs she awake?â He asked but Chopper quickly jumped in front of him. âAnswer! Do you have feelings for her?â
âWhy? Did she do this on purpose?â He answered with another question.
âSheâs dying!â Chopper blurted out.
Zoro stopped and stared blankly at him. âWhat? You just said she was fine! How could I have to do with her dying?â
âSheâs in love with you.â Nami answered from down the hall. He turned around stunned. âWhat? ___ loves me?â
She nodded as she walked up to him. â What the hell would that have to do with this conversation?â
âHanahaki.â Chopped answered him. Zoro stood there, confused and started to get irritated. âCan someone please explain what the fuck is going on?â He sighed flaring his nostrils out.
Nami sympathetically looked at him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
Days go by and you havenât stirred, it was a weary time for the straw hats. They knew they needed to leave since word of marine ships have been around but with round the clock care in the state youâre in it was risky to be out at sea.
âYou canât be serious Chopper. We canât just leave her here.â Sanji exasperated.
âItâs for the best. Right now sheâs in a coma and taking her out at sea needing constant medication would be a horrible idea.â
âBut sheâs one of us! We canât abandon our own for our convenience!â Usopp called out in protest. âWhat if it was one of us? She would fight for us.â
âChopper is right. Weâre risking her own life if we take her. We could come back.â Zoro spoke after watching everyone banter at each other.
âEasy for you to say! You never paid much attention to her and she always followed you around.â Sanji said getting in his face. âSheâs in critical state and you havenât so much as showed an ounce of empathy.â The green haired man didnât match his energy or get back in his face, just watched.
âLook Luffy agreed and heâs the captain so thatâs that.â
Both of them looked to their captain. âIs that true?â Sanji asked.
Luffy kept his head down, âItâs for the best. Thereâs a doctor here that can give her the care she needs. Weâre heading closer to the red line and we donât know how long sheâll be out.â
Wide eyes he stomped over and grabbed him by his shirt, âSheâs your best friend Luffy! How could you do that? How could you leave her when she needs you and us the most!â
With his head stilled down his hat kept his face hidden and he was silent. That angered Sanji more, âAnswer me! How can you be so cold hearted and discard her like sheâs nothing!â He kept shaking him.
â I canât!â Luffy snapped revealing his red swollen eyes filled with tears. âI canât go on knowing Iâm going to put her in more danger! Sheâs really sick and needs more!â He pushed himself off the chef and fell back on the floor, looking down, his tears staining his face. âI donât want to leave her but I canât do itâŠ. â
Nami had tears as well. âI know itâs hard to believe but itâs for the best. Weâre heading into dangerous waters Sanji, she needs more and weâll come back for her.â
âAnd when will that be hm? We could be gone for years. If we can come back and sheâs awake by then how will you explain dumping her here. You think sheâll forgive us?â
âDoesnât matter. What matters now is her health and Chopper has already talked to the doctor and made arrangements for her stay. Weâve given a family enough money to get supplies and equipment needed and compensation for their gratitude. Sheâll forgive us because she loves all of us no matter what. Even if it killed her.â Robin spoke glancing at Zoro when she finished. He avoided her stare.
âIâm not part of this decision so leave me out.â As Sanji walked away Luffy stood up. âYouâre right, youâre not part of this decision. None of you are, I decided and Chopper agrees so weâre doing it.â
After Chopper went over his notes with the doctor and only Nami Robin and Luffy said their good byes to you while Sanji, Zoro and Usopp stayed on the ship.
It was one of the hardest farewells for Luffy but he knew this was your best chance at getting better. âI promise to come back ___. Iâm going to find the one piece for both of us. Just stay strong okay?â He whispered then softly kissed your temple.
The island grew smaller and Zoro kept watching it till there was nothing but water. Nami approached him, âSheâs going to be okay. And sheâs doesnât have a bounty so no one will go looking for her, pirate or marine. The island is small enough that even we were surprised to find it.â She laughed off the last part but Zoro didnât react.
âYeah.â He said softly then walked off.
Later that day when the sun set Robin was in her shared room reading a book and Nami just came in from the shower. As she was drying her hair she glanced over to the empty cot and she saw a box under your bed. âOh shoot. We forgot something of hers.â She went and got it and examined the old beat up box. Inside was pictures of the crew and their adventures. She teared up, âI didnât know she had these. Check it out Robin.â
At the call of her name she put her book down and looked over to Nami that sat at the foot of her bed. âDid she take all of those?â
âYeah. Sheâs been documenting everythingâ she handed a small notebook to Robin.
âSeems like this goes as far back as when her and Luffy were children. Itâs amazing she kept track.â
âYeah.â She smiled then it faltered. âOh I wish these were with her though. So when she wakes up these can pull her over till we get to her.â
âHmm yes. But weâll keep them safe when we do return.â Robin said with a comforting smile Nami agreed and they both got into their beds and called it a night.
Up on the watch tower Zoro kept looking in the direction he last saw the island where they left. Wondering if youâll wake up and if you do will you be mad at them? At him? Did Luffy make a mistake leaving you with strangers?â The questions jumbled his mind but he shook it off and sat down closing his eyes.
__
The following days after they left turned into weeks, the adventures they were having were amazing but in the midst they would all have a tinge of guilt knowing you werenât there with them.
__
The evening light highlighted the room, making your skin glow. You didnât look ill just sleeping peacefully. But the doctor continued to worry about your state, with each passing day the chances of your survival. He was immensely confused, with the notes from their pirate doctor he was told your health was critical caused by an unknown sickness and yet you looked fine.
Then one morning you woke up, the family was having their usual breakfast and the doctor had already gone before sunrise. Walking into the kitchen it went completely quiet , their stunned faces and wide eyes confused you.
âIâm so sorry. I think I may have lost my way and got into your house. Can someone please tell me where I am?â
The woman of the house looked at you with a soft smile, âOh summer child please letâs go lay you down. You shouldnât be walking around in your state.â Her hands were soft on your shoulders as she guided you back to our room. âKai please alert your father of our guest.â She called out to her oldest who quickly jumped on his feet and sprinted out the back door.
Not long after you were served breakfast in bed a man showed up assuming it was the husband. âWell hello there. Glad to see you have an appetite.â He smiled placing his bag on the floor and rummaging through it. You nodded shoving a fork full of pancakes. âIâm starving! Your wife is so sweet. I thank you all for the hospitality.â
âOf course. Now, let me give you a quick examination.â
You did and it was quick like he said as he wanted you to eat to get your strength. âHow are you feeling?â He asks checking your ears and head. âFine. Just really hungry.â Your answer made him chuckle. âWell eat up, my wife made plenty of food as she knew you need all the nutrients.â
You nodded to that and shoved another full fork along with juice.
He left not long after to give you space and his wife met him in the hallway.
âHow is she?â She gave a worried look to him. Confused he answers. âShe seems okay. Just hungry so make sure she gets what she needs.â He starts walking away, âIâll be home after I close. Just keep her close and if she has questions Iâll answer them when I get back.â
âItâs going to be a little more complicated than that honey.â She says quickly catching up to him. âWe have a problem Iâm afraid.â
âOh? Whatâs wrong?â
Hesitantly she licks her lips and looks back at the door to your bedroom and he follows her gaze. âIs there a problem?â
âNo, but she doesnât remember what happened.â
He wants to almost laugh, âWell honey she did hit her head pretty hard. I imagine it wonât come back to her right away.â
The woman shakes her head. âNo I mean she does not remember anything. She doesnât know who she is or anything beyond this morning. Iâve asked her questions about the crew that left her here and she has no idea what Iâm talking about.â
The doctor takes a deep breath and softly grabs his wifeâs hand. âLetâs not overwhelm her with questions right now. Her brain is trying to repair itself so itâs best not to stress her out. If she asks just give a vague answer. We donât know how sheâll feel days from now, in the meantime Iâll try to contact the pirate doctor. Okay?â She nods and he quickly gives a kiss and is out the door back door into town.

Ever since Robin told you about the Hanahaki you couldnât shake off the uneasy feeling that bubbles up inside. Is it real? You havenât experienced any symptoms and that gives you hope that maybe sheâs just trying to save you from heartbreak that Zoro will never reciprocate. Usopp was right, he has plans and relationships is probably the last thing on his mind.
Ever since that day you found yourself in your shared room more often, not really wanting to run into him somewhere on the going merry. When you all made a quick stop at the first island you jumped at the chance to put as much space between you and him so you volunteered to go with Sanji to help pick ingredients and anything the kitchen would need. This threw Zoro off completely as usually you tag along with him-especially since he never asks.
âOh of course you can join me my lady!â Sanji winked holding his arm out and you took it. Intertwining it with yours and you were both off. Zoro lifted a brow but brushed it off.
Nami looked over at Robin, âAre you sure about this?â She asks.
âI amâ Robin answered watching you two disappear into the market crowd. âItâs whats best for her. Sheâs still so young and has her whole life ahead.â
âBut what if he does like her back? Maybe we can get him to confess to her.â
âZoro is a lot of things but heâs definitely sure about his feelings. If he did indeed feel the same way we would have noticed it by now.â
âHeâs a moron, he drinks so much heâs probably not even aware or knows what love is.â
âNami everyone knows what love is and what it feels like.â
She sighed blowing a few strands of orange hair out of her face. âI guess.â
-
The market was busy and you were truly enjoying yourself, Sanji made sure to keep you entertained flirting here and there and would assign you to produce picking, making sure you get the perfect pick of the day.
He held out a ripe fruit to you, âHowâs this?â He asks with a smile. You lean over and take a whiff with closed eyes. âHmm that smells good. What is it?â You ask admiring the pinkish orange texture, it was a little bumpy and firm.
âI donât know but I can come up with a recipe for it. What do you think? Should we try it?â
âYeah! Maybe it will go good in a pastry topped with custard!â You smile bright at the chef and he laughs. âSounds like a plan. Letâs get a couple more so we can try more recipes.â
You agreed and proceeded to look over at the other variety of fresh food.
Before you knew it Sanji had fours bags full of fresh ingredients and snacks for Luffy to keep him at bay so he doesnât eat all the meat in the cooler.
âI can carry a bag you know.â You walk along with the blonde and waves your offer away. âIâm not going to let a pretty little thing like you strain yourself and possibly get hurt. What if you fall? Or the bags but into your delicate hands?â
You laughed shaking your head. âSanji Iâm not helpless but if you say so then here.â You hands him your bag and he gladly takes it but not before catching your hand and giving a quick peck to your knuckle.
âNothing is too heavy for a beauty like you ____. You deserve nothing but the best.â
âAw thank you Sanji. I hope you can find someone who truly appreciates you even though you can be overbearing.â
âIâm a lover darling donât forget it.â He gave one last wink before stopping at the ramp of the going merry and dips his head. âAfter you.â
-
The rest of the day went by pretty quick, Sanji had already cleaned up the kitchen and you were putting stuff up that was out on the deck. Luffy decided to stayed docked over night since the crew were still interested in this little island and there happened to be a festival starting so street food really interested him.
âYou guys go ahead. Someone has to stay here and watch Merry.â You said to them. âAre you sure? We can look for cute festival outfits and match together.â Nami smiled to you.
âI would but me and Sanji were out for a while in the sun and I guess it really beat me down. I didnât cover myself, so I really want to rest.â
âOh⊠okay. Well Iâll definitely be looking for you.â She rubbed your arm and walked off.
âIâll make you soup when I get back beautiful.â Sanji said before following Nami down the ramp. Everyone else followed except Robin who stared. âAre you sure youâre okay?â She asks.
âYeah I am. Probably just fatigue is all. Iâll make sure to have that soup Sanji promised later.â
âI hope so.â After that she was off.
You sighed rubbing your face, you werenât lying to avoid Zoro who also watched you the entire time you talked to the other straw hats and only after Sanji left did he follow. You didnât feel good and assumed it was from too much sun so you were off to the showers to cool down. After getting dressed in comfortable clothes you were off to the kitchen.
With a dry mouth the water look exceptionally delicious and you downed it in seconds then headed out to the top deck for a juicy tangerine. Warm air ruffled the trees and made you shudder. You picked the juiciest one you can find and started peeling.
It was perfectly ripped and ready. Looking over the rail the only thing visible is the moonlight reflecting off the crashing waves while distant music played behind you.
Finishing the fruit you saved the peel for later to be turned into compost for the tangerine trees. Cycle of life?
You felt more dizzy and tried to shake it off but it did nothing. âMaybe Chopper has something in his office.â You said to yourself as you headed towards the stairs but suddenly the dizziness got the best of you and you dropped after the first step and collapsed down the stairs.
Music continued to play and the wind blew as you laid there, blood starting to pool next to your head.
-
It would be another hour before Usopp was the first to come back to Merry. He had a smile on his face looking at the trinket he bought for you since you like collecting things from different islands that you visit. âOh sheâll love this. Hey ____! You up still!â He calls out to you making his way up. He held the delicate glass up to the moon to admire its beauty and behind it he saw your body on the floor. â____!â Worry fills his voice as he runs to you. âHey! Wake up!â He reached out but quickly halted at the edge of the pool of crimson. âOh noâŠ. Help! Someone help! Chopper!â He turns and runs back down to the festival to find the doctor.
-
It was a blurry time. Sanji was the first to get back after Usopp drop the bomb. Afraid to touch you he called out to Chopper who was right behind him. They rushed you down to a bed and immediately Chopper started to work on you through tear filled eyes. âI need more supplies. Sheâs still bleeding pretty bad and I didnât get a chance to stock up.â
âWhat do you need Iâll get it!â Sanji volunteered.
âGauzes. A lot. She hit her head and it looks like her ribs punctured her skin. Thereâs so much blood I canât see.â
â Iâm on it! Donât you dare die on us ___!â
He ran past Nami who couldnât hold in her tears. âHow did this happen? She said she wasnât feeling well from being out in the sunâ
âI found her at the bottom of the steps. She probably fell.â Usopp spoke up.
âI need one of you to put pressure on her head while I try to stop the bleeding on her side.â
When no one moved Chopper barked back. âOne of you! Move! Sheâs losing a lot of blood and I canât be in two places at once!â
Too stunned to move Robin nudged through them to aid Chopper. She delicately held your head on her hands and summoned another to brush the blood soaked hair out of your face. âNami get a bowl of warm water and a rag so I can clean her face.â Robin asked while she continued to stroke your cheek.
âYeah!â Nami replied disappearing into the hall.
She came back quickly with the items and kneeled down next to robin handing her the rag and holding up the bowl. She dabbed the rag and gave it a soft squeeze then proceeded to wipe away the caked blood on your temples while also looking for the source of the bleeding. Carefully she moved your head and saw the gash on the top near your left temple. âThere.â She gave a heads up to Chopper.
âGood. Keep pressure there.â He replied not looking up from your torso. âIâm sorry Robin but youâll have to be there for awhile so I can surgically put her ribs back and stop the bleeding.â
âDo what you must. Iâm not going anywhere.â She said continuing to clean you up as best she can. When she couldnât see the bottom of the bowl Nami was quick to get fresh water and a new rag, discarding the used ones on the floor. Gauzes and supplies drenched in your blood piled up quickly around the straw hats. Usopp shook standing at the doorway, not knowing what to do then her heard a crash and saw Luffy running down the hall.
â___!â He shouted your name at the top of his lungs.
âWho did this to her? I want to know!â He huffed, firsts clenched. Usopp pushed him back from crashing into you and the girls. âEasy! No one did this to her it was an accident. She fell down the stairs.â He told the captain.
Luffy stopped, looking past him to see your beaten body, âIs she going to be okay?â He asked, there was silence. âChopper is she going to be okay?â He shouted this time.
âI donât know!â The reindeer shouted with as much volume. âI donât know! Itâs hard to tell right now. Let me just work!â He wiped his nose with the back of his hoof and sniffed. âIf youâre not helping then get out of my office please.â
Nami looked apologetic at her captain and co-captain. âWeâll let you guys know. Just keep a look out for Sanji with the supplies.â
Usopp nodded to her and started pushing back Luffy, âCome on. Weâre not needed here. Letâs just look for Zoro. We donât need anyone else hurt.â
He showed resistance at first but backed off and headed back out.
When Usopp got onto the main deck he attempted to call out to Luffy but stopped when he saw the blood at the bottom of the stairs and shuddered at the memory. Shaking the thoughts away he filled a bucket of water and tried to scrub the blood away.
_
He snored soundly under a tree not far from the festival, hands up and behind his head. The sound of people and children laughing mixed with music.
âI need supplies! Please!â
That annoying familiar voice made him peek his eyes open. He saw a frantic Sanji pleading to villagers. âWhereâs your doctor? I need to talk to them!â
The state in which the cook was in made him sit up and watch. When someone pointed in a direction the blonde sprinted out and Zoro quickly stood and chased after him.
âHey whatâs the problem?â He asked catching up.
âWhere the hell have you been!â He asked not slowing down. âDoesnât matter. Thereâs an emergency and Chopper needs supplies.â He continues before letting the swordsman answer.
âAre you going to tell me?â
âNo time just help take as much supplies as you can carry.â
When they barged into the village doctors home, bewildered by two strange men Sanji quickly explain that he was in need of supplies as there was an emergency. Luckily the doctor didnât want to argue with Zoro present and told him to take what you need opening up his closet.
The two men had boxes of supplies in their arms running back to the going Merry. When they got there Sanji continued to sprint into the halls while Zoro stopped for a moment to see Usopp mopping up blood that was now staining the wood.
âMoss head!â He heard Sanji call out and he quickly snapped back into action. His heart raced as he got closer to Chopperâs office, he hoped it was nothing serious but when he saw both Nami and Robin knelt on the floor a knot in his throat formed wondering who was on the bed. When they both looked back revealing your state he dropped the boxes unable to move from the hall.
âWe grabbed all we could.â Sanji told chopper as he grabbed the boxes Zoro dropped and began unpacking them. âTell me what you need.â
âJust place everything out. Robin and Nami are what I need. Right now I need you out.â Chopper replied.
Sanji nodded then stepped out closing the door, the soft light from the surgical lamp closing off on Zoroâs stunned face.
He stood there while Sanji didnât let go of the door knob. âWhat the hell happen? Did someone try to attack the going merry?â
In response he shook his head and started walking away, âShe fell down the stairs. We donât know why but letâs leave them.â
The green hair man couldnât move, alone in the pitch black hallway staring at the wood like he could see through it.

Growing up with Luffy wasnât all bad, you two shared memories that you will cherish forever and know that they can never be replicated with anyone else. Heâs your dearest friend and can never replace your heart⊠thatâs until you two ran into Zoro the pirate hunter. His calm demeanor intimidated you but you saw through those cracks of the walls he put up, especially when he surprised you and Luffy and joined your small crew.Â
It was really nice to have another person to talk to while scaling the Grand line but Zoro kept to himself a lot and trained like a maniac.
The first morning after joining you awoke before the sun rose and yawned walking out onto the top deck, a small grunt caught your attention and you saw Zoro swinging around his swords. âHow long have you been up?â You ask making your way to him.Â
He breathes out giving a quick glance over to you through his blades then resets his stance, âIâmâŠtrainingâŠâÂ
You nod understandingly, âAre you hungry?âÂ
He perked a bit at your question and smirked, âIâd be more happy for some booze.â His honesty made you stifle a giggle and he caught it. âWell itâs not even morning yet but sure Iâll bring some over.âÂ
Before he can respond you were gone through the door and down under searching for at least one good bottle. By the time you came back he was now working on weights by using anything heavy that was laying around. He watches as you bring up a bottle and two glasses, waving them in the air in victory. âSuccess! Itâs the last bottle but Iâll buy more when we stop at the next island.â Your small smile made him chuckle.Â
âCare to take a break and have a drink?â
It was an offer he refused to deny and grabbed the bottle popping it open and poured into one glass, âIâm good with the bottle sweetheart,â he said walking past you as he took a swig of the cold sake. You watch the clear liquid swirl around in the glass as you turn around heading towards the same direction he went. Sat up against the wall, knees propped up to rest his elbows, you took a seat next to him and he gave you a look. âWhat? I canât have a drink with a member of my crew?âÂ
âYou drink this early in the day?âÂ
âNo but I didnât want you to be alone.âÂ
Your statement caught him off guard, but he accepted your company, not much was said between you two as the sun rose over the small waves. Silently he was enjoying the comfortable stillness as he isnât much of a talker and appreciated it greatly that you werenât either. Daring you stole a glance at him as he watched the waves, getting a good look you saw his honey brown eyes that were surprisingly soft for his tough demeanor. âYouâre missing out on the sunrise,â he says as his eyes glance over to you, causing to look back quickly forward. â-sorryâ you blurt out.
A low chuckle rumbles from deep in his chest as he takes another sip. Silence falls between you two, the soft waves crashing against the worn wood beneath. You yawn, spreading your arms out, then stood up, âWell thank you for letting me stay.âÂ
As you walked away, he spoke up. âWhat are you doing up anyways, it's kind of earlyâÂ
âSometimes I canât sleep either.â You answer simply, walking through the doors and leaving him alone on deck.
-
âCome on! At least give your jacket!â Zoro shivered, rubbing his bare arms for warmth. Usopp shook his head, âI donât think so! You should have thought smarter instead of just taking off swimming in that icy water!âÂ
The swordsman grunted in annoyance then he felt a warm hand on his back and he turned to see you with your hand held out. âI wore an extra jacket over my clothes so this should be big enough to fit you.â Happily, he took the offering and felt some relief to not directly feel the blistering winds on his skin. He walked ahead after expressing his gratitude and Usopp came to your side.Â
â---- why did you go on and do that? You do not have an extra jacket on. What if you get sick?âÂ
You shrug hugging yourself and rubbing your arms, despite you having a thermal sweater on-- the cold was getting too much. âHe didnât have anything on, and I felt bad for him.â You answer honestly and Usopp sighs, staying closer to you.Â
Truthfully, him and every other strawhat knew why you did it, deep down you were developing feelings for the swordsman who hasnât reciprocated the feelings back--but to be fair you havenât even confessed to him yet so how is he supposed to know? âI donât mean to be a downer ___ but you know ZoroâŠ. Heâs focused on other things and youâre not one of them.âÂ
The words were true but that doesnât mean they didnât hurt, he saw the way it stung just from the expression on your face and he regretted saying it. â___ I didnât mean for it to sound that harshââ
âIt's okay Usopp, you're just looking out for me and I appreciate it.â You took his hand in yours and gave it a squeeze to reassure him.
                                                                         *******
Departing with Vivi was a bittersweet goodbye, but knowing that her and the Kingdom was safe helped you all cope with her absence. For the first few weeks the ship deck was quiet, no outrageous parties or Usopp and chopper dancing about but you did gain a new member, her name is Robin and you quickly warmed up to her.Â
âAnother delicious pastry for my beautiful Goddess!â Sanji presented his creation to her and she giggled at his ogling. You sat across from her, amused by the interaction even though he does it all the time it never gets old. Suddenly Zoro walked into the kitchen dripping in sweat so much that his shirt was soaked.Â
âOi! Get out!â Sanji barked at him, as Zoro was about to take a sip of water Sanji got in his face. âYouâre disgusting! Thereâs sweat everywhere!â He grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and Zoro bared his teeth at him. âLet go of me blondie!â He yelled, grasping his wrist tightly. âYouâre dripping everywhere! Get out or Iâll make you!â
âOh yeah? Youâre not going to do shit!â
âIs that so?âÂ
âYeah!â
You rolled your eyes at them, âAlright boys thatâs enough.âÂ
Both of them had their teeth bared, noses pressed against each other like snarling dogs but once you spoke Zoro was the first to turn your direction and push Sanji away. âIâm just getting water,â he says lowly picking up his sweat rag from the floor. âWell make it quick.â Sanji said back as he proceeded to conjure up another dish Robin didnât ask for.
âWhat will Robin have this time, Sanji?â You asked, approaching his side as he started putting ingredients together. He smirks looking over at you, âIâm making your favorite.â You smiled at him and Zoro stopped midway of taking a sip as he glanced your way.
He doesnât know why but the way you looked up at Sanji ticked him off, it was innocent only because he knows you love food but still. It didnât settle well with him, so quickly before you could turn to talk to him he ran out the door. âWhatâs wrong with him?â You ask out loud and Sanji had a smug look as he continued with his work.
As you proceeded to watch Sanji simply because watching him cook is fun Robin noticed more than what you saw. She watched silently as when Zoro glared at Sanji, his breathing changed for a moment, a step back like he was going to move but he didnât. She saw everything as it happened and she started piecing together quickly the connection between you two. In the short amount of time Robin has been with the strawhats the amount of times sheâs caught you looking at Zoro anytime he was in the room was ridiculous, the times you took the chance to go find him since his sense of direction is⊠not the best. It seems every time an opportunity that involved Zoro you did not hesitate and to be honest no one questioned it because they know.Â
When Robin first saw it she leaned towards Nami who immediately answered her unspoken question. âZoro is an idiot and sheâs gullible. I wish she would tell him but⊠Iâm afraid he wonât feel the same.â
Robin nods, âBeing the greatest swordsman is important to him.â
âAnd heâs important to herâŠ. but only one will get what they want.â
She tisked as she turned heading inside, âItâs a shame. ____ had her whole life ahead of her.âÂ
That caught Nami off guard and she followed her quickly. âWhat are you talking about?â
SHe watches as Robin sits at the table and gestures to her to sit, hesitantly she listens and waits. RObin takes a sip of her drink and sets it down, âNami youâre a smart girl. Have you heard of the Hanahaki?â
She nods not following her, âOf course, itâs a myth that was created so teenagers wouldnât think they were ready for love.â The last part made Robin smile but it didnât meet her eyes, âItâs not a mythâŠ.. it's real, very much real.â
âNo youâre lying! ____ isnât dying and Zoro has no idea sheâs in love with him.âÂ
âI think he doesâŠ.. or at least suspects it.â
Nami stares down at the table, replaying her memories looking for any evidence that what Robin is saying is true. She shook her head again, âDoesnât matter the Hanahaki disease isnât real and ___ isnât dying!â
âIâm dying?â your voice caught them both by surprise. Standing there in the doorway before the light of the kitchen ceiling window met your feet, âYou guys talking gossip??â You joked as you helped yourself to a cold drink. Both of them watched you carefully and you felt it, sharply you turned to them. âWHat?â you ask sternly, eyes bouncing between the two, âSpit it out.âÂ
âYouâre going to die if you donât get over the swordsman.â Robin bluntly said, catching you off guard.Â
Coconut spat out your mouth, you coughed violently patting your chest. âIs that a threat because honestly I donât know.â You coughed between words, Nami came to your side gently patting your back. âDonât listen to her. Youâre going to be fine.â She says to reassure you. It didnât help but the coughs calmed down, you glanced up at Robin who didnât move but only stared back at you. âHow does Zoro relate to me dying?â You ask her, Nami spoke before Robin, âNothing. Thereâs no correlation between the two. Come on, let's get you cleaned up.â She pulled you off the counter and towards the door but you were still intrigued. âRobin what do you mean?â You ask again a little more sternly.Â
There was an expression of sadness, just a tint of it but you caught it. She opened her mouth but stopped herself. âLetâs go ___. Before you get all sticky.â Nami said quickly but this time you followed her.
bold and brash
A shirt (Levi Ackerman x reader)
Levi Ackerman x Gender nuetral!Reader
I just quickly put this together so idk but it was on my mind
Levi is weirdly obsessed with reader, scent kink? pillow humping, self pleasuring and he just can't resist you so will do anything to get himself off.
Levi low key being absolutely obsessed with you would be something hot to think about.
I picture him nonchalantly staying in the shadows as he follows you around-- whether you know he's nearby or not he doesn't stop
-you have your guesses that maybe he's keeping an eye on you because you're still ranked down?
-at first you shrug it off as a test
-so you make sure to never drop the ball and continue to get better and stronger, your mind and body being in sync with each other which make you look even more undesirable to him
-it gets harder and harder for him to stay away to the point that his following in the shadows continue to more private times for such as bathroom-- changing or showers
-still so shy he doesn't look directly at you while you do your thing but looks anywhere but you but loves to listen and hear your voice
-it hard for him to sit still as you run through his mind-- it gets to a point that he thinks about touching himself to you but restrains himself
-if anything he rather have you touch him instead of his calloused hands
-Irritated he snaps during training
-"(Y/l/n)!"
-Your back snap straight and you march to him
-"Yes Captain."
-"Head to the stalls and clean them up. They're filthy and could use scrubbing."
-confused you nod and head off thinking you must of done something wrong but in fact he sent you off because he couldn't stand the sight of you sparring with Jean even though he knew you were just teaching him new techniques since after all you're one rank below Levi and you've been assisting him with his young Cadets that are still children
-getting straight to the point you start cleaning and mopping off gunk and dirt from the wooden floors, reminiscing about just earlier-- afraid you missed something
-with crossed arms Levi stood watching his cadets, wondering just how sweaty you've gotten by now with the beating heat-- did you shed some clothing? drench yourself in water making your clothes cling to your heated body?
-he shook those thought away quickly knowing he wasn't alone and he should be focused on his work
-Get your head out of your ass dumbass.
-the day was done and Levi made a jump to the stalls wondering if you were still there
-to his surprise the stalls were empty and spotless
-this came to no surprise to Levi, he had expectations and you knew how to attain them
-this also means you were probably already in your room so head headed back
-you lived on the same floor as him which means you had your own bathroom like-- not like the cadets that have to share a community bathroom
-tempted he stops at your door and notices it unlocked, with a quick glance around he sided steps into your room
-the first thing he hears is the water running from your bathroom, steam coming up from under the door
-you're occupied and he smirks
-he walks around softly taking in your small tokens and trinkets placed on your dressers, faded pictures hanging on the wall-- he picks a pillow up and smells it, your sweet scent from your hair filling his nostrils, your sheets smelling the same
-it smells like bliss to him
-he continues to walk around then stops at your closet that was ajar
-with a finger he pushes it open further and feels the fabric of your shirts, he sniffs them then pulls away to look down at a pile a clothes
-he picks a shirt up and brings up to his face, its been worn recently but not from earlier, realizing it smells like your pillow and sheets it brought dirty thoughts to his mind of you sleeping in a shirt and panties
-imagining that distracted him that he hadn't realized the water stop running and you were going to walk out and see your captain sniffing your dirty laundry
-he stepped back causing the wood to creak under his boots
-the shadow under the door stopped, "is someone there?" you called out
-he curses to himself that he allowed to be caught
-"Its just me." He says loudly hoping it doesn't cause suspicion
-"Captain? What are you doing in my room?"
-he stutters for a second under his breath "I went to the stalls and didn't find you there so I came to tell you that you did a good job." He cringes at the half ass excuse hoping
-"Oh. Thank you Captain." you said and he can hear the confusion in your voice.
-"I'll just get dressed real quick and meet you--"
-in a panic he stuffs the shirt in his jacket "that's okay, I'm on my way out."
-he walks out quickly hearing your bathroom door open and make a break for his room
-shutting it behind him and pressing his back to it, his heart beating a thousand miles a minute, the room suddenly became hot and he takes off his jacket
-the shirt falls to the floor and he scoops it up quickly draping it over his chair then goes to the bathroom making sure he locked his bedroom door first
-after his shower he laid in bed in pure darkness staring at the wall in front of him
-your naked body so close to him, replaying in his mind that he was in a vulnerable space of yours where all your prize possessions were
-got to see a side no one else has
-he could have had the pleasure to see you fresh out the shower with skin still damp from the humidity that your sleep wear surely would clung to your skin, droplets of water falling down your neck, cheeks tinted, flustered and tired
-it was ravishing to him
-finding himself with his pants in his undergarments, his throbbing member pressing against his thigh, yearning for friction
-"Tch." he sighs as his own precum traces shiny lines on his skin
-he rubs the tip and he hisses, he's more sensitive than he thought
-clasping his hand gently around himself he began stroking, a low groan escapes pass his lips
-he continues, breathing heavily turning his face towards his pillow and in a moment he peeks up-- with the moonlight pouring onto his floor he sees your shirt
-with a frustrated grunt he stands and strides to snatch it up and drop down his bed
-with spread legs he brings the shirt to his face, rubbing the soft fabric on his cheek, taking in your scent as he strokes himself faster with more intensity
-wanting more he puts your shirt on one of his pillows and lay on his side, he hugs the pillow--the smell of you becoming overwhelming as he continues to pleasure himself, your name coming out like a chant to the thought of you laying on your side as he holds up one of your legs ramming his cock into you, soft flesh pressed to his chest
-moaning and groaning fills the air, your panting in his ear sending him over the edge. He groans very loudly in the pillow twitching and aching as he lets his seed out all over his pillow and your shirt
-"Fuck."
he lays on his back, limbs spread out as he catches his breath feeling smalls beads of sweat on his temples. as reality sets in he hears a knock at his door
-he snaps his head up watching the shadow under the door move around.
-"Captain Levi?"
Shit
-"What is it?" his usual stoic voice
-"Were calling me? I thought I heard my name over here."
-Shit. Shit!
-"Your mistaken. It was probably someone messing around outside."
-there was a slight pause before you spoke again, "You're probably right. Good night Captain." you said as you walked off
-"Goodnight (Y/n)" he responds causing you stop and look back at his door, smiling that this was the first time he addressed you with your first name
