I loved The Killer so much that I’ve been avoiding Hard Boiled. Everyone says it’s even better but I have a hard time believing anything could get better than that.

R finally got me to sit down for it and the first 10 seconds are already the coolest, swaggiest thing I’ve ever seen. We had to pause to feed the cats and now I’m so happy I get to watch the intro again.

It rules but I was right, The Killer was better.

I also learned a valuable lesson that if you play a really loud action movie during fireworks your cats can’t hear the fireworks as well and that calms them down a little. So that’s good to know.

My chief complaint is that the misogyny of the series is wearing me thin and I saw a video where a man said “just because you don’t like the way Orihime and Rukia are written doesn’t make the whole series misogynistic”

And all I could think about was how far he was going to not actually say out loud what everyone was saying about Orihime specifically.
