Every once in a while I’m reminded I had to stop my youngest sister from accidentally seeing a video narrating this comic when she was young enough to be in a car seat.
I’m also reminded there’s a JFK assignation comic with Judy as JFK but it turned out she didn’t die it was some weird joke. Oddly found out the creator agreed with Judy & there’s a sequel where they meet again with new partners & managed to make amends as friends that moved on.
The "Judy and Nick meet again years later, both with new romantic partners, and reconcile and rekindle their friendship" comic and the "Judy is now mayor and gets JFK-ed" comic are the same one. It ends with the 'shot', and a later released image has it that someone just threw a jar of jam at Judy's head.

I mean the pouches have developed and spread, which is never a good sign, but we can't see if she's reached Terminal Foot Reduction yet because she's conveniently standing in deep snow... without leaving any footprints though, so... yeah... not a good sign but I've seen some characters recover from worse.
I dunno, if you look at that last panel, you'll see her right breast and part of her chest are somehow in front of her right glove's cuff and right elbow despite her arm sticking straight forward. If non-euclidian chest geometry isn't a symptom of terminal Liefeld's, I don't know what is.

Assorted companion support group things I've been thinking about lately because they would be funny:
-they tried to put all of the Doctors in order from youngest to oldest which started at least five arguments, upset at least three different people, and finally exploded when everyone realized Kate actually knows the correct order
-there is an ongoing debate about whether or not anyone has actually slept with the Doctor
-no one can decide if Mel gets cagey about her time with Glitz because she did bad things or if it's because they were together and she will not give them any hints
-similarly, no one can decide why Ace gets weird when someone brings up other time lords and Gallifrey
-a popular pastime is trying to test whether or not Donna is actually part Gallifreyan now, but they can't get her to do a blood test because she is violently terrified of needles, so they keep coming up with increasingly elaborate ways of testing her abilities
-Ruby keeps armchair diagnosing people and it always ends badly
-Kate has unilaterally banned any and all discussion about the timeline of UNIT's history because the dating controversy got so out of hand
-other banned topics include: "who is the Doctor's favorite", "who had the worst time aboard the TARDIS", "who is the TARDIS's favorite", and "which version of the Doctor is the most annoying"
-They've tried piecing together the Doctor's personal timeline before and have largely given up, seeing as half of them can't even piece their own timelines together. They have all agreed not to ask Fourteen about it because he is extremely unhelpful
-There is a running talley of how many times they've all encountered certain species like the daleks and the cybermen and everyone has come to the conclusion that the amount of times they've had to fight daleks is obscene. Ruby, who never encountered any of those, is hopelessly confused.
-EVERYONE starts shipping Mel and the Rani just to torment her
-There is an ongoing debate about who's timeline is the most fucked
-For her own safety, Jo is not allowed to participate in discussions about the Master
-Belinda goes to one meeting, thinks "these people are insane", and never comes back
-Jack Harkness doesn't come to meetings because the two times he went both ended with him getting hit in the nuts because he wouldn't stop flirting (Tegan got him the first time, Ace the second time). Donna is very upset to learn this.
-Everyone loves getting updates about Fourteen from Donna because she exclusively talks about him like he's some weird crusty old chihuahua she found in a dumpster
-Grace Holloway zoomed in to a meeting one time and was incredibly shocked at how blase everyone was about the fact that she kind of killed the Doctor one time.

Gonna add on some Martha headcanons because I'm thinking about her now thanks to these reblogs
-Martha would show up and be super nervous to meet anyone because she expects them all to either idolize the Doctor or hate him completely, but she shows up and Tegan immediately goes on a passionate tirade about what a jackass he is and how much she misses him and Martha realizes that everyone has complicated feelings about the Doctor. Yaz finds out about her whole thing with the Doctor and they immediately become friends.
-Mel, who has by this point realized that the best way to break the ice is to reveal something embarassing about the Doctor, breaks out the photos of Sixie and his coat and Martha laughs so hard she almost chokes.
-Martha makes a special trip out when she hears Donna got her memory back, and accidentally sparks a furious debate about whether or not Fourteen should be allowed to attend meetings. They end up deciding to have special Doctor-inclusive meetings every once in a while so that he can show up and everyone is prepared for his presence.
-Martha and Tegan are the #1 Master haters and Martha had to hold Tegan back from mauling poor Jo the first time he came up in conversation. Martha is absolutely done in by Jo's big, sad eyes and can't bring herself to be mad at her.
-Martha invites Gwen Cooper to a meeting because Gwen is curious and the group gets to witness in real time as Gwen realizes why Jack is Like That
-This leads to Donna and Gwen becoming really good friends and now Rhys and Shaun are on a quest to get the Doctor into football
Then this guy named Craig, who drops by sometimes and who, whilst not a companion, was the Doctor's landlord for a while so sort of qualifies, produces his photos of Eleven playing football.
They probably let Craig in because they've got almost nothing on Eleven to begin with, what with both the Ponds and Clara not being able to join their group. Like, Jo and Sarah Jane met Eleven once, but that's about it. Eleven must be a bit of a large blind spot for the former companions.

And if Data wasn't sitting there, who was manning the Ops station? That seems like the sort of role it wouldn't be wise to leave unoccupied?
They only really swung out like that in the season 1 version of the bridge. Starting from season 2 they changed out the forward console chairs for ones that didn't recline nearly so far and could swivel themselves, meaning the console didn't need to swing to let the operator in and out.

Being able to manifest anything that has been made into a card is actually absurdly powerful, when you think about it. Even if she can't cheat and make her own cards (Hello New Mutants, I have made cards of the X-Men and now you all have to fight your own individual Wolverine!), people make cards of everything nowadays.
since beast wars is happening in the far far future after the great war has ended & the real optimus prime and megatron have died, does that mean that optimus primal is like one of those kids who's parents named them george washington.
Pretty sure the original cartoon confirmed that too. Barney the Megatron named himself after the G1 trigger-crotched guy.
But yeah, Optimus Primal did seem a bit of a fanboy more than anything.
I prefer to think that Primal was just born looking like that, with a blue helmet/a vertical head crest/ear antenna things/a faceplate, and his whatever-the-transformer-equivalent-of-a-parent is just looked at him and went "Yep, that's an Optimus alright."

people always talk about evil clones like oooh a dark mirror oohh what if you saw what a cruel person you were/are capable of becoming. and well yes but what if you were the evil clone. what if you looked in the mirror and what you saw was so bright it blinded you. what if you had to know exactly how good you could have been.
Powers Rangers comics, of all things, has done this. Shattered Grid comics storyline had this idea at its core. Lord Drakon, a version of Tommy Oliver/the Green Ranger that actually chose to rejoin Rita after being freed from the mond control spell, started looking into the multiverse and seeing every other Tommy out there was a beloved and respected hero while he alone was a reviled tyrant and murderer.
His response was to come up with a plan to make himself omnipotent and rewrite the multiverse into just one world with himself as the only hero.
