One thing that has helped my brain specifically is when I buy strawberries I wash and chop them all that evening and put them in a Tupperware. This is one task and now I can eat them whenever; the alternative is that I was them before eating, which is a task every time I want to eat them. This may have been obvious to everyone else, but it helped me.
