For those unaware, a mass shooting occured today in Gilroy, CA at 5:30pm Pacific Time. Two men opened fire with assault rifles on thousands of people, including children, who were enjoying the region's annual Garlic Festival. At present, there is a reported 60 people injured. Not all of those injured are shot, but also include those trampled as they ran from gunfire, or incurred injury in a related fashion. This is incredibly close to home for me, and countless others local to the Bay Area. If you are local, please donate blood, contact your congressional and senate representatives, and check in with loved ones in and around the area. Be safe. These are truly terrifying times.

I was there as a vendor and two bullet holes hit our booth. Me and my coworkers are all fine but laying on the ground listening to the shots being fired was the scariest moment of my life. They also aren’t sure if there was a second shooter, that’s currently just a rumor.
