Glad I'm not dating in DC.
Am I really admitting that my sister is determined to marry a man she has only seen once and doesn't much like the look of? It is half real and half presence--and I have an idea that it is a game most girls play when they need any eligible young men. They just . . . wonder.

Maybe?
I’ve taken a step away from dating, clearly.  Deleted all the apps, deactivated all the profiles . . . except for match.com since I’d already paid for it and don’t like to waste my money.
I haven’t done anything with match--just glanced at messages received, and through my email account and the notifications.  Not even looking at the site.
. . . But I just received a cute message from a guy who might have potential.  And, even though I really have zero desire to date right now, I do kind of want to say hi to this guy.  Something has pulled me in, and I don’t necessarily just want to turn a blind eye simply because I don’t want to date right now.
