I think a lot about how both Victim and Chosen were heavily shaped by the people they latched onto after their trauma.

Like sure, Chosen has always been more violent and reckless than Vic, but we see in AvM 0 that Chosen does enjoy peace. Dark is ultimately the one who ropes Chosen back into violence.

Idk, I find it interesting how Victim was able to slowly overcome their trauma (large part due to Mitsi being so unconditionally loving and patient) while it seems like Chosen never healed from his trauma, he just started inflicting it onto others (something that Dark didn't exactly discourage...)

Absolutely!

Vic got time to heal from his trauma and he even started to move on. Chosen however, in the Flashback especially, is still dwelling on his time as an adblocker (and this is 7 years after spending time with dark).

Vic gives off "nobody should suffer like i did" while Chosen gives off "everyone should suffer because i did". Which, Dark seemed to encourage.

So, it makes me a little sad how little attention Chosen's trauma gets in canon. Sure, Victim was tortured for 9 months, but Chosen was stuck with Alan for four years. FOUR YEARS. And, Victim found Mitsi, who was really kind and loving, and managed to heal. But Chosen- Chosen ended up with someone like Dark and that kinda sent him down the wrong path.
