It irks me so bad when people still choose to use loose substrate when it is literally so easy, simple, and inexpensive to change it out. Some lining might be a little more high maintenance, but tile is the best way to go. Adults want to fight and argue when it's so EASY to just change it out. It just comes down to people wanting to brag and acting like they're pro vets just because they're pets are still alive. Alive =/= healthy. Since when is your pride worth more then a living things health?
This… Another thing that baffles me is just from a monetary point of view, even if loose substrate wasn’t dangerous, why would you want to waste so much money refilling large tanks over and over?
I honestly can’t think of a single pro to sand, only cons or neutrals (such as “it looks pretty”) or misinformation (“they live on sand in the wild!”).

You were wrong to assume a paper bedding was sand. You were wrong to block me when I confronted you. You are not a vet and you are doing little to curb a major problem. I’ve been dealing with empty activist blogs since 1998. Blogs who mean to spread rightful husbandry. Yet I’ve met endless vocal activists who do not feed or water their animals daily. I hopefully assume you care for your babies well and I really, really hope you are not and ever become that stereotype. Promote what it takes to take care of them. Don’t assume and reblog. You poked the wrong person who has decades of experience and does a lot of rescuing/education the right way,
