Hello!! Just wanted to pop in and say seeing your music bot doodles is always the highlight of my week, tysm for the constant Jazzsterwave crumbs and yums :-)

One of your doodles (the one where Soundwave’s mini cassettes are trying to get out while Jazz talks dirty) got me thinking of the myth of consensual sex meme. Would that happen a lot to them when Soundwave is around Jazz and Blaster? I imagine it’d be the same for Blaster’s own cassettes, a little bonding moment between the lot of them 🤝

I noticed a very hard to read and inaccessible scan of the short story Redemption Center from the Transformers Legends Anthology 2004 novel floating around in the Starscream tag and since the story is dear to me, decided to transcribe and post a clean pdf version. It’s linked here:

Published officially along with a collection of other Transformers short stories in 2004 under the Transformers Legends Anthology novel title, Redemption Center character spotlights Starscream and tentatively explores the grand divide of faction dynamics.

The story itself is a “what-if” sort, taking place in the Generation 1 continuity some time past the episode “A Prime Problem”, following Starscream after he finds himself severely damaged in an accidental fall post battle. The damaged Starscream creates an ethical dilemma for the Autobots, having shed his memory in recovery and exhibiting very unfamiliar behavior.

Though the dilemma doesn’t last long as Starscream quickly recuperates, regaining the weight of his past and returning to life with the Decepticons. Despite his quick departure, the kind experience the Autobots left Starscream with seemingly leaving more of a lasting effect on the ‘bot than anyone would seem to expect.
