Don't think about the guilt Superhero AU!Scott carries over his actions as a supervillain.

Don't think about him lying in bed, late at night, his ears filled with the screams of the innocent people he killed in his desperation to be recognized as something other than "Xornoth's sidekick"

Don't think about him not being able to look at Jimmy's scars without drifting to the ones that he created. Don't think about him tracing one of them, muttering an apology that's not nearly good enough, that will never be good enough, no matter how many times he says it.

Don't think about him being awoken by Jimmy's nightmares, and despite repeated reassurances, wondering how many of them he featured in. Don't think about him never being able to look Jimmy in the eye in the morning, even when he insists everything's fine because it's so obviously not.

Don't think about Scott wondering if he's beyond the redemption Jimmy seems so convinced he's capable of, if the number of horrific things he's done overshadows any hope of becoming better.

Don't think about the envy he feels over the bond Jimmy shares with his sister, and the constant question plaguing his mind of if there was something he could have done to save Xornoth, too, if only he hadn't killed them.

Me thinking about dsmp!Wilbur again-

Wilbur, associated with orange, a warm color, cause he has L'Manburg and he has his friends so he's happy and content, and orange symbolizes creativity and enthusiasm, what built L'Manburg

Then he wears browns, a dull version of orange, a husk of what he once was

How Ghostbur is associated with blues, a cool color, cold like him, because he's dead, but blue also symbolizes trust, tranquility, and stability- Wilbur is at peace, he's happy

And then he's revived, adorned in orange again, but now Browns too, because orange is blues compliant, it's opposite- ghostbur is gone, and so is the old Wilbur, because the orange has also faded to Browns

What was once warm turned cold then to a sickening fire that consumes
