As soon as Sei saw Aoba walk in the door he stood up. He managed to wait until Aoba set his stuff down and sat on his bed before making his move. Walking over Sei sat himself on Aoba's lap, wiggling closer to his brother. Before he could protest Sei leaned forward and kissed him, closing his eyes. It lasted for a while and when he pulled away he looked at Aoba with a small pout. "Next time tell me before you leave for 3 days..."
"I didn’t think I’d be gone for so long…" He muttered, setting his gaze on his brother. It was horrible that he couldn’t even offer a proper excuse, but he was too smitten over being missed that he couldn’t find it in himself to care. Sei’s new greeting of choice was enough to turn his cheeks several shades darker and where he’d decided to take a seat wasn’t exactly helping the matter.
Aoba wasn’t sure when he’d placed his hand on the other’s shoulder, thumb stroking idly in circles over the exposed skin, but soon those same fingers were trailing downward to intertwine with Sei’s.
"—next time I’ll just bring you with me."

"A-o-ba~" In between sounding out his brother’s name Sei gave him little kisses on both cheeks and then finally on his lips.
For once the other wasn’t stuck in his video games and was actually paying attention to him. Relishing in the moment Sei gave his brother a few more kisses before nuzzling his cheek, feeling extra cuddly today.
"Hmm? Wh--"
"Ah, Sei... what are those for?"
It must have been much too obvious that he was missing having his brother's attention on him, considering how happy Sei seemed about covering him in kisses, but he didn't mind at all.
Let it be known that from this day on I will not be calling Aoba by his given name.
Instead he shall be known as Whiny Scum.
Because that’s what he is.

"Tag team…? Ah, tag is the game where you run around and chase people, right?" Sei imagined the three of them trying to play that and laughed, breaking out into a grin.
"Yes, we definitely should tag team him. It sounds fun."

"Aoba, I'm bored." He'd been sitting around talking with his brother for a while when the conversation had drifted off, leaving Aoba to silently work on a video game and Sei to pet Ren. Sitting up he moved behind Aoba and threw his arms around the other, nuzzling into his brother's neck. When Aoba still didn't seem to reply he pressed forward more, nuzzling again and this time placing little kisses there. "Aoba, pay attention to me..." He placed one final kiss before sitting back with a pout.
"Ah, hold on. I’m so close to hitting the next level. Look!" Gesturing to the television with his controller, he glanced back at his brother. Apparently he hadn’t found it at all interesting because soon Aoba was being covered in kisses. That sure got his attention.
"Fine… I’ll save and we can do something together."

Mizuki wraps his arms around his own stomach, unsure of whether what he’s feeling is pain from his abrupt lapse of laughter, or the fact that Aoba had just jabbed him in the side again; an action that had become far too common for him now. "—Pfft. Of course I was joking." The male says with a reassuring nod. “After all, with the length it is now I bet people will just start thinking that I’m walking with a really cute girl~!" Chuckling softly, he emits a cheeky smile before grabbing a pillow to shield his fragile body from Aoba’s powerful hand—at this point he’d do anything to avoid answering that inevitable question, ‘when will I be able to go home again?’
"Ahhh… I’m still not to sure about that yet," He begins to explain as his bright smile slowly drops into a lonely frown. “But I’m sure it won’t be too long before then, I never have to stay here for more than a week or two." He looks up now, with a more than content smile returning to his most delicate features. If only that were true though, because he knew better than anyone else that it was only a horrible lie. If Mizuki had been honest with Aoba, he would have said that the doctors had told him that his health had been declining more and more ever since he was re-admitted; and they were unsure as to why. He had promised himself though that he’d never let the other boy know of his condition.
"—Pshh." He slowly leans with the intent to fluster the other with his charming smile, “Are you only asking because you miss me that much already~?" He teases warmly while trying to eliviate the mood with a gentle smile. Honestly, it was already hard enough on Mizuki to know that Aoba was only visiting him because he was worried; something the boy was rather famous for. But there was no need to force him to worry anymore, the last thing he wanted to do was burden him with more of his own bad news.
If Mizuki's goal had been to watch the pale skin of his face become rosy, then he had certainly succeeded. It wasn't incredibly hard to get Aoba flustered, and it seemed like the other got a kick out of doing things to that effect. Furrowing his brows, the blue haired male raised his fingers and placed them on the other's forehead, pressing down lightly so as to push Mizuki's face away from his own.
"I see you every day lately, I don't have a chance to miss you." Came the reply, a smile curving up to his own lips as he said it. Though that wasn't entirely true, despite the fact that he was seeing more of his friend lately, this was hardly the place he'd want to be doing it at. It'd be a lie if he said he didn't enjoy these moments, though, despite the cause for bringing them together. The visits were just getting more and more frequent and it was worrying despite the fact that Mizuki hadn't mentioned anything about that fact. It didn't really seem like he was getting better, but he at least looked happy.
"Oh! I almost forgot." That said, he picked up his bag that had been placed by the foot of the chair he was sitting on. What he pulled out from it was a plastic container, that when opened revealed about a dozen doughnuts, which he placed on the small table at the side of the bed.
"I had Granny make some for you, I thought you'd be sick of hospital food by now."
