I vent about life, talk about addiction recovery, mental health struggles , and my disabilities. I also share harm reduction strategies for several mental health issues as I was a teacher an I have actively trained in mental health first aid and addiction and harm reduction for both.

My recovery story is below if you are interested.

I will never encourage unhealthy behavior in anyone else.

The first time I was hospitalized was 14 at 120lbs. I was severely underweight and I began using drugs and alcohol in an addictive manner that year and didn’t stop until I received treatment. This is a warning to anyone who thinks addictions won’t consume your entire life or you can stop when you want. I went into rehab at 21 after a coma. I had been using drugs and alcohol that not only numbed the pain of existence but made it so I could walk for days and I never had to sleep. I now have a TBI, epilepsy, and Im partially paralyzed. Start recovering at the first chance you can it will be easier. I’m over 4 years clean from drugs and alcohol and taking life one day at a at a time. I am also in recovery from bulimia and anorexia. I am fully restored to a healthy weight as of last spring.

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"

My little brother insisted if I was going to post about him, he wanted a cut of the "profits". When I explained to him that Tumblr isn't monetized, and is pretty pointless, he and my older brother pointed out that he'd still be bringing me "fame and notoriety" if the post got "big". So we agreed, if the post hit 10k notes, which seemed extremely farfetched and silly at the time, I'd take my little brother out for sushi (his favorite food) and let him eat as much as he wants.

I guess God wanted the little robot to enjoy some sushi 🍣 🥲
