Midsummer in poland was not too bad.
Im fitting in well.
A birthday brunch in Charlotte.
First things first when moving to a new city.
next stop in my life: moving to Krakow in a month!
Hey, I was browsing Tumblr and bumped into your post on Amsterdam & Utrecht. Funny coincidence, because I've lived in Utrecht until last month and will move to Amsterdam next month. Utrecht is the most horrible city I've ever lived in, even though I lived at the start of the 'picturesque' 'De Oude Gracht', where that small statue of 'Nijntje' is ;) . But maybe I'm just becoming more cynical now that I'm not a student anymore, who knows :)
If Utrecht is the most horrible city you've seen, I wonder what you think about Amsterdam. :D I really liked Utrecht and didn't enjoy Amsterdam at all. It was too touristy for me. But that's just me, haha. I hope you have an awesome time in Amsterdam! :)
my last day in the office. even though i'm looking forward to return to the land of snow but i will miss this crazy group of europeans. until we meet again at the finnish-swedish party boat! it's okay!
another visit to the neighbouring countries. this time to düsseldorf for the christmas market. where they have deep fried cheese and more glühwein that anyone can hope for.
more visitors from finland! the kaupunkitour is in the city and they surprised me again. instead of two girls in amsterdam, i got three! you can always trust the kaupunkitour!
a visitor from finland! what did we do? eat eat drink drink eat drink drink eat drink eat eat eat. i'm not complaining!
a reunion of 10stouri! a long weekend in london consisted of many british breakfasts, hats, shopping, indian food, national museum of history, friday bottle lottery, kumman kaa, pubs, cider, beards and bulges. london sutina days kuittaa!
touring around the netherlands on the weekends. ade festival in amsterdam with the spanish girl. a day as a hipster in a funeral home turned bar with a ball ocean and a jumping castle. cider festival in cold rotterdam. luckily the cider kept us warm in the uninviting city
a quick visit to finland. of course it had to start with massive meal of wings and the notorious Siipiweikot. the rest of the weekend was spent in the wedding of my cousin. if i may say, it was hands down the best wedding i have ever been to.
another civilized, sober outing with the dutch of japan.
sunny warm day. hangover. why not go wakeboarding? even though the artificial lake smelled like duck shit, it was an awesome day. even though my body ached for the next 5 days, i would do it again.
i have been lazy. netherlands is not as close to my heart as japan, so i haven’t documented it with the same enthusiasm. but here we go again! living in the center of europe has its benefits. take a two hour car ride and you can find yourself in france, lille, in the biggest flee market in europe.
