To all my followers! Ungortunately I have been good and truly locked out of this account. As such, I made a new one! You can now find me here:

I’m still tweaking things here and there, but the inportant stuff is all there! I have got all my old threads listed up so my partners and I can pick up where we left off.

Also of course I will have to do a lot of reblogging from my old blog to the new one for some things, or perhaps just link to the tag on my old blog (eg for my essays). Will give it more thought.

Technical Difficulties

It seems tumblr has randomly decided that I need to change my password for this blog. Ufortunately, the email address this blog is linked to is ancient and I have not used it in years. As such, I cannot for the life of me remember the password nor other information with which to access my emails there and reset my blog password. Perhaps I will have an epiphany and remember the password for the account or something soon, but until then it seems I will only be able to access this blog via mobile. Apologies to everybody I have ongoing RPs with, my meta collab partner shinigamimistress (I haven't forgotten I promise!!) and all the people waiting for replies to asks. I will do my best to get back on here!! Aaargh and just when Chap 116 is about to come out!! T_T Any advice would be appeciated!!

Is it right to have an intimate relationship with somebody you don’t love?

If both partners know that the whole affair is purely for sexual gratification, or money, or whatever, and nothing more, then fine. That’s their business. 

But even in that case, I find it more than a little sad that two people who couldn’t give a damn about one another personally are engaging in one of the most personal and intimate of actions. It’s sad and pathetic and empty.

Case in point: my own parents. If one of them bit the dust right this minute, the only thing the remaining partner would mourn... would be that they lost the thing that gives them leave to enforce their own wickedness. That’s all.

3. What do you think others like or admire about you?

My musical talent, of course. My leadership - I’m far more competent at keeping order in a crisis, unlike my predecessor…

And, in fact, my manner is actually quite liked by my fellow students. Oh, and my skills in cricket aren’t half bad either. I’m quite sure my Purple Burnout is admired by others, even if they won’t admit it!

That’s all I can think of for now.

6. Do you think that killing is ever justified?

Yes. In cases of self-defence, or when protecting someone from an immediate threat. Aside from that, I don’t see any justification for it - aside from any personal bullshit justification one can use to satisfy one’s own ego.

“My father?!” Cheslock stared at the mortician, thunderstruck. “My father was here – in London?!” 

In a state of utter disbelief he started mumbling, half to himself: “To think he’d show his face here… I know it’s been years, but…”

Cheslock froze, what little colour he had in his face draining away the moment he set eyes on the man Rosalie waved to. He felt a chill shiver through him as the man looked their way.

Theodore James Cheslock’s eyes widened as they fell upon his son, as black and fearful as they had been then.

He can’t hurt me, Cheslock told himself, clenching his fists. Not here. Not with all these people…

“So the brat was telling the truth,” Theodore muttered, frowning at Zeno. “Just my luck.”

Zeno glared at Theodore, not saying a word the whole time. Rosalie, not liking what was happening, started to fuss and said, “He scary” 

Rubbing her back to get her to calm down, Zeno whispered, “It’s okay Rosalie, we’ll go home soon.” The silver haired reaper didn’t want to leave Cheslock alone with Theodore. Sure they were out in public but he didn’t trust Theodore. The look on Cheslock’s face saddened him.

Breathe. He had to breathe. If he didn’t calm down, he would strangle the man right here in the street. Cheslock couldn’t let his anger win. It had driven him for so many years, dragged him down so many dark paths - and all it had ever done was prove his mother and father right; in every wicked deed and every wicked word hurled against the son they hated.

In the face of this hatred once again, feeling its cold fury crushing his very soul, Cheslock stood his ground.

It was at this moment, staring directly into his father’s face, that Cheslock noticed a small scar on his lower jaw. Cheslock had a good inkling of what had made it.

He smiled grimly.

“Nice scar, Father,” he said. “It smacks of my own.”

Theodore’s smile vanished and he put up a hand as if to hide the mark. There was a twinge of fear in the man’s eyes. He was remembering a moment of violence only one other person in the world could recognise. As it happened, that person was standing right in front of him - taller now, a boy no longer.

Cheslock continued to smile.

“Mother really knows how to make men bleed, doesn’t she?”

Without a word, Theodore Cheslock turned and fled into the London crowds. The chaos swallowed him up, and he was gone.

Cheslock stood staring into the space his father had occupied before uttering a deep sigh and turning to Zeno and Rosalie.

“I’m sorry you had to see that,” he said. “My old man... really.”

Cheslock opens his mouth to say more, but shuts it again. No. He may like Zeno, and Zeno may very well keep his silence, but even so… it was too personal. 

So he nodded and said: “Alright. Lead the way.”

Zeno smiled and he lead Cheslock to the childcare place that Rosalie was at. He walked into the building with him and a little girl with silver hair in braids and a light blue dress came running to Zeno “How’s my little princess today? Did you have fun?” Rosalie nodded and held up a picture that she colored. The silver haired reaper gathered her things, signed her out, and picked her up. “Rosalie, this is my friend Cheslock. Can you say hi?” Rosalie smiled and waved at him.

Cheslock waved. There was no denying she was a cute little one. Despite their differences in appearance, Cheslock was reminded of Tilly when she was little. She smiled just like Rosalie did. Before…

“Hullo,” he said. “Aren’t you pretty?”

“Thank you,” Rosalie said quietly. Zeno adjusted the bag on his shoulders and he said goodbye to the child care workers before heading out the door with Cheslock and Rosalie. He smiled as he listened to his daughter babble about her day. However, his smile dropped when he saw a familiar face.

“Hi!” Rosalie waved to the man, obviously not knowing about the exchange Zeno had with him a few days ago.

“What the hell are you doing here?” he hissed. “How dare you show your face in London?”

Theodore smiled.

“I was never barred from the place,” he said. “I simply had to lay low for a while, until all the fuss died down. It’s been four years, Erebus. Our society is terribly fickle - after a while misdeeds are forgotten under the weight of other trivial matters in their own little lives.”

“Trivial?”

Cheslock forced himself to stay put. He couldn’t act out of turn, not with Rosalie look on.

Theodore went on triumphantly.

 “I can walk around here without concern for my reputation - it’s been soiled enough, but now time has passed, I can safely work on rebuilding it.”

“You’re insane,” Cheslock breathed, fists trembling. “What you did... what you did to Uncle Albert... not even the most stupid of our society could forget that - let alone forgive it!”

The father’s smile widened.

“We shall see.”

Remember, kids: Use your commas! It’s super super basic grammar but it’s something so many rpers get wrong. (I personally can’t stand it D| )

if you’re going to declare who is speaking after dialogue, never end the dialogue with a period. always use a comma, exclamation point or question mark. 

no capital should follow speech unless it’s a proper noun or I. 

be conscious of where pauses are in your writing!! 

example time!  incorrect: “William is gay as fuck.” Said Ronald with a grin.  correct: “William is gay as fuck,” said Ronald with a grin.  incorrect: “Well yes obviously!” Alan replied giggling away.  correct: “Well yes, obviously!” Alan replied, giggling away. incorrect: “For gods sakes Ronald why don’t you ask him out already?” Huffed Eric. correct: “For God’s sakes, Ronald, why don’t you ask him out already?” huffed Eric.
