Apophis’s Mask
The goal behind this was to create a mask for the character that summed up the idea of an old AI machine that was striving to relate and live among humans but was still fighting with its instinct to be ultimately self serving. The character’s mask would swamp out different emotions depending on the player’s behavior as an attempt to communicate.
More notes on this character in the previous post.

Drawing from the Alien Covenant trailer this morning. Excited to see this one.
“Ghost Marauders”

For those interested in my process, I’ve published a few tutorials available through Gumroad.
Thanks!
Apologies I haven’t been posting here much but here’s a new piece! For more visit my artstation.
Another concept using 3D-Coat, Keyshot and Photoshop for the Learn Squared course I'm taking with Jama Jurabaev.
Aside from being the exceptional inkslingin’ illustrator as he is known today, Chris Visions was also, at a time, an accomplished actor and the star of my college films.
Gifs are taken from my recently uncovered shorts; “Son of Batman” & “Pulp Free Fiction.” 2006
Go wish him a happy birthday > http://chrisvisions.tumblr.com/
Happy birthday to the man, the lengend, Chris Visions!
Hey everyone, so I recently signed up for Jama Jurabaev’s Intro to 3D Concept Art class over at Learnsquared.com and so far it’s been incredible. I’ve been learning a ton of great techniques using 3D-Coat and Keyshot which is making my life a lot easier. Here are two images for the first homework assignment.
The first image I'm most happy with. The second image was more of a test to play with a different perspective and atmosphere. Went with a pretty obvious Bladerunner, dystopian vibe. I’ll keep posting more work as I move through the class.

I was recently hired by a friend to create some keyframe artwork for their film treatment. Very cool story but I'm not going to discuss much about it until the author is ready. Fortunately though, I am able to share some of the images as we move forward.
New cover art for The Forevers Issue 2.
The first 5 pages of The Forevers, a new series from myself and Curt Pires, are now available for preview. The series launches this October. Published by Black Mask Studios.
Live fast. Live forever.
Five friends struggling on the brink of stardom sacrifice everything in a black magic pact that brings them all the wealth and glamour they ever wanted. But now, years later, the glow is fading. When one of them is killed in an accident, they each feel a pulse of magic rise in them. They realize the glow is spread evenly among the group, and if one dies that power is passed along to the rest. Suddenly, they are being hunted. One of them has decided to kill the rest and harness the remaining power.
As they search for the killer, each of The Forevers will be confronted by the macabre reality of the lengths people will go to be adored, to make sure the spotlight never fades.
Here's a new character concept from Kid Havoc, an IP I've been putting together over the last four years. My close friends may be familiar with it or anyone that followed me a few years back. Recently, however, I've decided to bring it back. Over the course of the next year (maybe two) I'll be putting together a graphic novel/treatment book detailing everything I see for these characters and this world. Once completed I may be fortunate enough to work with some incredible minds to take this idea and make it into something much greater. It's an opportunity I can't take for granted so expect much more. I'll post as much as I can along the way.
