Happy pride -- the toothpaste flag is still ugly as hell and a blatant ripoff of Emily Gwen's lesbian flag. Hope this helps! <3
My favorite quirk of American English is that since we're constantly exaggerating, sometimes it's more intense to say something slightly less intense. Because like, it means you actually thought about it.
"you look great!" - normal. Anyone could say this. Could be true or could just be lying to be nice. Very normal expected thing to say to someone
"you look good." - gay as hell thing to say to someone.

First Shabbat of 5786 ✨
There’s a beautiful name for the Shabbat that falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur: Shabbat Shuva, the Shabbat of Return. It’s a gift of time.
The essence of this day is about returning to what truly matters and taking time for meaningful self-reflection and inner peace as we begin the Jewish new year.
Soaking in every quiet moment of this meaningful day of reflection. May your Shabbat be peaceful and your heart be full.

For this list I'm going for an almost academic horror primer. The goal is to cover the genre from its beginnings to modern day, touching...
Heya all! I'm putting together a horror movie primer that covers the directors, actors, themes, and stylistic shifts in horror cinema over the years! I'd love to get feedback on what I'm missing (I only included films that I've seen so there's a few obvious gaps like the 1930s Dracula and The Mummy) and hear what people think of what I have so far!
This is meant to be semi-academic which unfortunately means I had to leave out some all time favorites, and it also means that there's quite a few on here that I am glad I'll never have to watch again, but they were significant to the history so I feel they should be included.
I'm excited to see people's results and hear feedback! I'd love to discuss why films were or weren't included! And, to bait for notes, here's a survey:
How many have you seen?
1-24
25-49
50-74
75-99
100-124
125-149
150+
All 157 of them
None

Might just give up and make this a nsft k!nk blog
it’s fucking wild because one day you’re like i guess i’m not dying tragically young and you go to the store and you buy dental floss, ingredients for soup, and a bath mat
King of Drag Shots: The Buck Wylde
We knew instantly what we wanted from this Buck-ing drink -- a strong, fruit-forward dark purple shot. Glitter optional.
We started with blue curacao and a splash of grenadine -- our purple base. Raspberry syrup added to the fruity profile and thick, punchy flavor. We added creme de cacao to deepen the color and dimension. A splash of whipped cream vodka adds an alcoholic edge. shake with ice.
Enjoy!
Recipe: 1 part blue curacao 1 part creme de cacao (dark) 1 part whipped cream vodka 1 dash of grenadine 1 dash of raspberry syrup
King of Drag Shots: The Tuna Melt
Alrighty, I'm not strong enough to make a shot that tastes like an actual tuna melt, so we're going with first impressions and some good old New York stereotyping! We're starting with apple brandy for a Big Apple king. We pulled in butterscotch schnapps to mirror the brown tones of Tuna's outfit, and whipped cream vodka for a little pizzazz.
Enjoy!
