It bums me out that people don’t seem to reblog fics here anymore. I’ve seen people talk about starting a fandom blog, but going out of the way to specify that they won’t be reblogging any fics, just art and maybe meta. I am slow but I try to reblog fics when I am able, and I hope it gets those writers some attention. They deserve it. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seem like people interact with fics less and less these days

So it's been about 5 (?) years since some of my friends suggested that I should give the Magnus Archives a listen because I would probably really enjoy it and at the time I was very much like 'nope, horror is just not my cup of tea'. so it kept getting reshuffled to the bottom of my list. I managed about 8 episodes 2 years ago but I was in the process of moving house so I got distracted and forgot to pick it up.

However, I finally got around to giving it another go a few weeks ago and damn it you were all right. It was SO GOOD I can't stop thinking about it. Does this make me a horror convert now? Who even am I any more???

(Also I'm trying to let my hair recover after 5 years of being blue all the time and I sort of forgot it wasn't blue so I didn't realise until I finished drawing him that I accidentally gave him not only really similar clothes to me but also my exact haircut and colour rn... Don't get me wrong I knew I was projecting onto this guy (The Lonely struggle is real) but I didn't realise it was this bad lol)

Less awkward

Well... I usually don't really write fanfiction, but instead prefer to stick more directly to the text and focusing on my own visual interpretation for that (unless it is jokey jokes, then all bets are off). But I also am a sucker for casual romance side plots that while being not the main focus of the story still are there and important to the characters and their progression. Hence these kind of scenes don't need much prompting to form in my brain... It was important to me that their dialogue, as I imagined it in their voices, still sounded true to their characters and I tried out several things for the coloration of this to make it als light and fluffy as possible without becoming too kitschy? It is more or less the antithesis to the Lonely scene... also since weird kissing sounds are not a problem in this medium... yeah. Yeah.
