Hello,

This blog is where I will be documenting the creation of an escape room based on resident evil 7.

This will include:

- creation of props and sets from the game

- recreating puzzles from the game

- creating unique puzzles that are within the theme

- “promotional” photos and videos from the room

- probably more!

Major update!

Sorry I haven’t been active lately, on the good side, I’m turning this project into an independent study with my university! I’ll be recreating the bedroom dlc puzzle (the main one with the books and paintings) and hopefully I’ll be able to document all of this really well.

I’ve been overall creating this as a very low tech project so I’m excited to integrate some technology into a puzzle like this.

Big milestone announcement!

I have designed all the puzzles for the room!

This is something I’ve been working on for over a year now, so I am very happy to finally have a plan for each puzzle (even if they are subject to change)

The current count is 53 puzzles within 19 different locations. Some puzzles are replicas of ones from the game, but most are completely original.

They should take you through the majority of the games plot from breaking in to the baker estate to using the necrotoxin to kill eveline

Finally being able to carve out some time to work again. They won’t be super great, but I’ve also started filming the creation process of my props, so that’s something to look forward to as well!
