It’s so funny to me to see how people that aren’t fans of dream smp react to dream smp content. I just saw a post that was like, “What do you mean there’s plot? They’re YouTubers???” Like. People don’t know that the dream smp is a giant roleplay. They just think we’re really passionate about speedrunning.

Like you say that you’re a fan of dream smp and people are like “oh dream and his stans suck” and it’s like. The dude doesn’t even stream on the server. I am simply here to watch a 17 year old roleplay killing god.

I love to remind SBI fans that DreamSMP hates the SBI dynamic and it always ruins every headcanon and that Dream is the main reason why the dynamics aren't cute family time. Besides from the fact the only Wilbur and Phil are canonically related so they dynamic was fucked from the start.

"Wilbur hates Dream for killing Tommy multiple times" and "Wilbur getting revived means he's going to kill Dream and work against him" Wilbur and Dream have been friends since Dream gave Wilbur the tnt and protected him from Tommy. Ghostbur was friends with Dream even after finding out that Dream lied to him. Afterlife Wilbur was told by Tommy that Dream killed him yet again and Wilbur literally didn't care.

"Phil and Techno are hiding their true feelings about Tommy being killed in the prison and want Dream dead for killing him" No. They don't care. I'm sorry but it's true. Tommy betrayed Techno and by extension Phil after they were willing to help him. Dream and Techno have been friendly since day 1 from giving Techno starter gear on the mountain. He later gave Techno the map to the totem he used to save himself from the Butcher Army and saved Carl for him and geared him up. It's not about the favour Techno owes Dream it's about Dream and Techno working together because they understand eachother and it benefits both of them.

"Phil and Techno hid their true feelings about Tommy's death because of Niki and Ranboo" Apart from the fact that the Syndicate has a 'what happens in the syndicate stays in the syndicate' rule, Niki and Ranboo are both some of the only characters that Techno would open up to and has said multiple times he trusts them enough to tell them secrets that only he and Phil canonically knows about.

Also Dream canonically had something with both Wilbur and Fundy just to add onto their shitty relationship dynamic.

I dont know how to say this but I recognize that frozen characters are stylised in their weird cat-face giant-eyes disney 3d style thing, and I feel like stylized 3D animation is really cool when done right. And by done right I mean “the characters aren’t all identical twins”

Frozen (2)’s stylised animation:

Its.. its flashy for sure, proves their budget is gigantic, and the clothes are nice, but they have the exact same face with the exact same expression. Sisters typically don’t look like carbon copies of each other, even with the same parents. My sister and I are varied by skin tone, facial proportions, and weight distribution in the body.

Spiderverse

All the characters have clear & distinct silhouettes. The two un-masked male characters (miles & Peter b) look distinct, and not just by skin color and height. Miles’ facial proportions and hair texture are unquestionably afrolatino, while Peter B has the classic Broken-Nose greasy unwashed hair look. Miles is a very skinny 14 year old and Peter, well, he looks like an adult. Cannot believe you can guess characters ages and be correct in this movie. Important to note they both have different expressions and body language that portray similar emotions to the character behind the camera.

(I didn’t wanna compare Gwen & Penny because they have fundamentally different 3D art styles)

The characters here are distinct. Penny is a 12 year old Japanese preteen, Gwen is a ballet dancer and drummer and you can tell from her shoulders she’s built, Peter porker is an actual 2 foot pig, miles is a 14 year old whom surprisingly doesn’t look like superman (looking at Disney here) Peter B has maintained the shoulder strength but his core is flat- he looks like he doesn’t even wanna waste the energy, and spider noir is built like a fucking tree i just realised how tall he actually is. See kids, if you punch nazis you gain an extra 2 inches from God as a reward.

What I’m trying to say is: studios all have the ability to make memorable, compelling and diverse characters in 3D models, they just don’t want to stop making White Disney Princess.
