a term for black queers who are feminine/femme! the term and flag design is meant to relate black femmes to being beautiful and lovely, in every shape and form. i coined this term myself and also created the flag myself , since i didn't really see any terms for black femmes as stud is for black mascs. stemme doesn't really fit for me personally.

Recent Indonesian Idol season, we have Ambonese contestants, and she's the runner up. Being Black Melanesian, she has curly hair, and you know what the judges did when they're all on stage after the show?? FUCKING TOUCHING HER HAIR LIKE SHE'S A DOLL.

I was so fucking furious I got a headache. Touching and like—idk the word—like "feeling" the texture of her hair. My body literally had a reaction watching that, bcs I'm reminded of the tomes my cousins and classmates would crowd me and touch my hair and laugh at it and call it a palm-fiber broom.

Don't get me started on the comments on her appearance, like calling her "lion-like" when she's literally soft-spoken and very sweet and smiley. Then telling her she looks "bold" and "scary".

In big ass 2026 man. Fuck off.

I don't hold the violence of defense against racism as an equivalent to the violence of experiencing racism and someone inflicting that violence.

No, I'm never going to say "well yes he shouldn't have called you a slur, but hitting him back was just as bad!" Because it isn't. You don't get to inflict violence on a group and then expect them to be Held Above responding to it. You don't start fights and then say that it's a problem that someone fought back.
