Mayflies are in the insect order Ephemeroptera which is the reason for my account name “ephem”

I’m mostly going to post bugs and one piece art so be prepared

Largest Millipede in North America, very common and very cool.

bugs have begun to return and I am so happy for them…

First we’ve got a red flat bark beetle, they are found almost worldwide, he fell in my hair, I released him—

an Asian lady beetle (not our native lady bug) and a little grass spider being companions

A fun green darner of course, gorgeous colors

Finallyy an American Carrion beetle, a flesh and fungi eating friend.
