Eunhee hated to admit when she struggled with something. She would much rather pretend like she had everything under control and that she was more than happy with what she was capable of. However, she knew that if she was going to be a good leader, and that if she was going to be highlighting and pointing out her members’ shortcomings for constructive criticism purposes, then she would have to highlight her own. She had never been the best dancer. She could keep up with WISH’s choreography and she had a good sense of rhythm after years of training, but she still found herself struggling from time to time. Who better to help her with that then one of the best dancers in the industry? She stepped into the practice room in the middle of pulling her hair up into a ponytail, making sure all of the strands were pulled away from her face. “Hey, oppa,” she greeted once she spotted Joonsoo there. “Sorry I’m so late, I had practice with the girls.”

Chae Eunhee Aesthetic 002: Halloween

Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly depending on your opinion of her, Eunhee is a big fan of The Little Mermaid’s Ursula. She’s one of her favorite Disney characters of all time, despite the fact that she’s a villain. When she first found out about the masquerade ball, she immediately knew who she wanted to take inspiration from for her look of the evening.

Hi guys! I know I’ve disappeared and ghosted on a lot of you guys, and I just wanted to apologize and make a little post to explain why I haven’t been around for the past month. A loved one of mine passed a few weeks ago, and the weeks leading up to that they weren’t doing great either. We all knew it was coming, so I didn’t expect it to hit me that hard, but it did and I’ve been having a rough time for a while now. That’s why I’ve been away for so long. BUT, I loved Famed and everyone here and I love to write, so I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. I’m so sorry to everyone I was in the midst of plotting with and everyone I have/had plots with! I hope that we’ll be able to plot again or pick those back up. I’ll be sending out welcome messages to everyone who’s been accepted during my hiatus and I’ll be replying to old messages too!

suwei felt like a princess. and growing up she always did, because in her parents’ eyes she was a princess. or at least their princess. but in her ball gown and mask she felt like a real princess from a fairytale on her way to the ball to meet her prince charming. she stood out in the garden listening to the music from the main room filter out. the sounds of the orchestra made her want to dance.

it was quite out in the garden until it wasn’t. an unsuspecting person was walking by. she stopped them as they approached her. “you wouldn’t happen to know how to dance?” and by dance she meant slow dance. it seemed the right thing to do in the garden dressed up in her gown with the sounds of the orchestra flitting through the air.

As much as Eunhee enjoyed dressing up and any excuse to go above and beyond with her outfits and accessories, she wasn’t enjoying herself nearly as much as she thought she would at the masquerade ball. It had all the makings of what could possibly be a great event, but she just couldn’t get into it for the life of her. It was a little upsetting, especially considering the fact that she had put so much time and money into her outfit, and she wasn’t even enjoying herself as much as other people seemed to be. 

Just as she was running through multiple faux excuses to use in order to get away from the ball, someone else approached her, causing her to look up. “Dance?” She echoed, her mind blanking for a moment. Her immediate reaction was to say ‘what idol doesn’t dance?’, then she remembered that there were quite a few idols with two left feet. “I do, actually.” Then the music registered with her. “Wait, to this?”

“You’re still training. you’ll quickly find out that you will always have more to learn.” heesung chuckled hearing her joke about him being a middle aged man. “well i guess so. but for what its worth I think you’ll learn to be a great leader. plus, i’ll always be around if you need advice or to vent to another leader” he stated calmly. he didn’t extend that hand often. but he really hoped that she would accept it if she needed to. 

“i hope we blow up. i have so many plans for when that happens” which he did. he wanted to do volunteer work for orphans. to help with their living expenses and so many other things. even if he sent the things out anonymously. 

“Maybe so. Though I think I’m already knowledgeable on a lot of things. More things than a lot of other people are.” Eunhee knew that she was smart. She had common sense and life had taught her quite a bit up until that point. And in terms of training, she considered herself to be above most of the other vocal based trainees because of her prior history with music. Of course she was still learning, and had more to learn, but she couldn’t help but defend herself - even though she didn’t need to be defended. 

“Leader advice from the next best leader in the industry? I’d be honored.” In all honesty, Eunhee didn’t want to be a leader. She didn’t want to take care of other people. She wanted to focus on herself and her own career, but she had a feeling she wouldn’t get exactly what she wanted. It always seemed like the more averse she was to something, the more probable that it was. “I’m sure you will blow up. You just have to put that energy out there. Don’t say, ‘I hope we blow up,’ you have to say ‘when we blow up’.”

eunwoo shook his head as fast as the question was given to him. he knew their parents only wanted them around to have a fictional “happy” family look. and he was tired of playing his “part” in the whole charade. “I don’t answer their phone calls anyone. plus, i was hoping we’d have our own holiday here” eunwoo loved his sister, and only followed what their parents wanted thinking it was protecting her. but in actuality it was far from reality. he still felt bad for all those years where she had felt alone. “i’m off almost the whole month. we should do something if you aren’t busy”

“Our own holiday here?” Eunhee thought about it for a moment, glancing around her apartment. “Sure, I guess that would work. Honestly, I wasn’t really planning on doing anything for the holiday besides relaxing. But I guess that I can throw together a quick meal and make sure I have a bottle or two of wine for us to enjoy.” Even though she acknowledged the importance of the holiday for their country, Eunhee wasn’t really interested in celebrating it. She never grew any attachment or warm feelings towards the holiday because throughout her childhood, she was forced to spend it with her parents, who made the holiday quite unbearable. She was willing to put up with it for her little brother though, as always. “What do you want me to cook?”

“perfection only makes you anxious. I put that pressure on myself and I shouldn’t. You shouldn’t either. just do your best. small flaws add character” heesung stated dropping his guard just a little. “anyone can be a leader ya know. you just have to remember when you’re part of a group. its not only about you. while yea its normal to want so much for yourself. but letting others shine, allows the group to shine” heesung stated as he closed his eyes still keeping his head against the wall. those were heesungs real thoughts. and thats probably why he was going to be the leader. he put his group above himself, and knew he would always help them and watch out for them. but he knew he was going to end up putting too much pressure on himself to be the best leader. it was part of his nature.

“well after waiting five years, its a bit overwhelming.” hearing her question he nodded with a smile. he wrestled with the thought of sharing the song with her, but if it was only a small line from the song what would it hurt. “its called angel.” heesung sat up straighter to have better posture before singing it softly for her. “i was afraid it was a dream, so i closed my eyes and opened them again to find myself standing before you like ive desperately wanted“ taking a deep breath he relaxed and smiled softly. “you tell anyone i sang for you, i’ll deny it” he teased 

"Perfection only makes you anxious if you weren’t born perfect. Like me,” she joked, playfully tossing her hair over her shoulder. On some level though, she knew she wasn’t really perfect. Eunhee did believe that she was, more or less, perfect. It didn’t take long for her to realize that people didn’t like it when other people recognized and acknowledged their natural attributes while using them to get ahead, so she knew not to speak on her own opinions of herself to others. “Such wisdom at such a young age, oppa. Were you born middle aged?” Although she made jokes about his words, she knew that they held a lot of truth. He was right about everything he said, which was why she didn’t really want to be the leader of the group BC decided to put her in whenever she debuted. She didn’t want to put others ahead of herself, especially when it came to her career. 

“How did you ever make it that long?” She asked, truly curious. She knew that waiting years to debut was the norm in the industry, and she knew that it was quite possible that she could be waiting that long, or even longer, to debut. Eunhee just wanted his advice and perspective on how to deal with it. She smiled when he started to sing, letting her eyes close while she listened. “As if I would tell anyone. This is going to be our little secret. I’ll just be prideful knowing that when you debut and your group blows up that I was serenaded by thee Park Heesung.”

“Have you talked to mom and dad recently?” Eunhee asked suddenly after a few moments of silence had passed between her and her younger brother. The question had been lingering on her lips ever since Eunwoo had stopped by a little while earlier. As much as she tried to make herself believe that she wasn’t as affected by their parents as she used to be, she knew deep down inside that she was. Deep down inside she knew that she still held a lot of resentment towards them, and she most likely always would. It would be hard for her to get over their treatment, or lack thereof, towards her during her childhood. “They called me yesterday,” she continued on after a few seconds had passed. “Some bullshit about wanting to spend time together during Chuseok.” Eunhee scoffed, rolling her eyes. “I told them I was busy.”

“yeah. when you’re the leader of a group everyone’s eyes are more on you. you participate more overseas with translating, you speak up for your members when they can’t. its a very big responsibility. you can’t do it half-assed” this was a topic that heesung was very passionate about. being a leader was important to him, and protecting his other members was as well. heesung nodded and caved in and took half of the protein bar. not taking long at all to devour the small bar.  hearing her next words, he almost choked on the bar. laughing it off he looked at her and shook his head. “me? perfect idol. is there something wrong up there” he stated playfully using his index finger, poking her in the head. 

most of his members were more talented than he was, all he could do was lead them. he was a sub rapper and sub vocalist for a reason. taking a deep breath he leaned his head against the wall. with her next question he nodded softly with a smile. “yea. we debut in april. we’re almost done with recording. music video shooting is soon. that way they have enough time to edit it and have everything set”

“That sounds like such a tough job. You really are the perfect fit for it, you know that? You’d be a strong leader. I’m sure the guys wouldn’t mind being led by you. I know I wouldn’t,” she couldn’t help but smile at her own words. “Personally, I don’t think I could be a leader.. Or that I’d even be a good leader.” Even though her debut wasn’t going to happen any time soon in the near future, what with BC’s next girl group up for their debut in the next few months and Eunhee was almost positive she wasn’t included in the lineup. “Maybe if I end up being the leader of whatever group I’m in when I debut, you can give me a few tips on tricks on how to properly lead a group of several other people.” She playfully frowned at him, gently nudging his shoulder. “Oh, stop it you. You should realize your own perfection. I realize mine, it’s great, really. Self validation is the best validation.” 

She couldn’t help but feel a little envious of Heesung on some level. He was getting his opportunity to debut and she was still rotting away in BC’s trainee basement. Granted, he had trained for longer than she had, but she was still very impatient. She didn’t feel like waiting any longer, and she hoped that one day soon she would be able to stand on stage as an idol. “That’s so soon. Do you have a favorite song that you guys have recorded so far? Just tell me the title so I’ll know what song to listen to first when you debut.” She finished off her portion of the protein bar, shifting in her spot on the floor so she could nonchalantly slide a little closer to him. “Or, you could sing a few lines..”

Chae Eunhee Aesthetic 001: Fashion

Eunhee’s fashion choices would be best described as feminine. She loves skirts, dresses and heels. Most of her wardrobe consists of those things, but she does have a few pairs of pants, jeans and sneakers. It’s very rare that you see her without heels on. The only occasions where she doesn’t wear them are for dance practices, when she’s working out or if WISH’s stylists give her flats or sneakers to wear. She has a wide range of colors in her wardrobe, but most of it consists of lighter colors (i.e. pinks, beiges, blues, yellows, light purples, e.t.c). Most if not all of her clothes are designer. She refuses to wear anything but the best clothes and she’s willing to pay a pretty penny for them. Her style could honestly be described as modern day Cher Horowitz.

was he excited? he was beyond excited. he was excited, but he was also extremely nervous. heesung bent down to grab his towel and folded it into a small rectangle before gently patting his face to get the sweat somewhat off of his face.·“i mean, its what i’ve been working for. its a bit daunting” he stated calmly using his free hand to scratch the back of his neck. seeing the things she brought he chuckled nervously and accepted the water bottle.·“t-thanks. i really did need some water”

taking a deep breath he walked over to the wall and sat down. heesung looked up at her and patted the floor beside him.·

“daunting? why is it daunting?” she asked, curiosity coloring her tone. her smile widened when he took the bottle of water, nodding her head. “you’re welcome! i’m glad i could provide something you needed.” eunhee watched as he sat down on the ground, immediately stepping a little closer and settling herself on the spot next to him. she placed her bag on the floor next to her leg, opening up the protein bar and breaking it in half. “you should eat something, oppa,” she murmured, gesturing for him to take half of the snack. “anyway, i don’t think you’re going to have any problems when you debut.. you’re already really talented and handsome. you’re like the perfect idol.” she propped her head up on the palm of her hand while she looked at him. “have you guys started recording songs yet?”

knight’s debut was fast approaching, and he was already announced as one of the upcoming members for the group. as knight’s leader he had to try and put even more work in so he wouldn’t let them down. watching himself in the mirror he kept practicing until he heard a familar voice enter the studio. turning around the very sweaty male chuckled and nodded. “whats it look like” heesung stated running his hand through his very damp hair. 

heesung was known for being a sarcastic ass, and he honestly tried to tone it down around the female talent, just because of how the women taught him at the orphanage. putting his hands on his hips he walked closer to eunhee. “why are you here so late though?”

“it looks like you’re working really hard,” she retorted, raising her eyebrows as she rested her back against the doorframe, taking in the older trainee’s appearance. “i brought something you might need.” eunhee looked down into her bag, searching around for a few seconds before pulling out a bottle of water and a protein bar. “i had these earlier, but never used them. and it looks like you could use them more than me.” she held them out for him to take, a sweet smile on her lips. “me? oh, my vocal training ran a little late because i wanted to work on a few more things with the trainer. i decided to take a shortcut to the exit when i heard music playing and thought i’d peek to see who it was.” she chuckled. “i just heard that you were one of the trainees announced to debut with bc’s new boy group.. are you excited? i can’t wait to see you on stage for the first time.”

she was well aware of how other trainees perceived her, but she didn’t really care. if eunhee were being completely honest with herself, there was only one trainee whose opinion she cared about and that was heesung. eunhee rarely did the whole “crush” thing, especially because she was so focused on her own career and making a name for herself after she debuted as an idol, but she couldn’t deny the fact that heesung was very much so her ideal type in a lot of ways. he was tall and handsome, and he wasn’t a bad person to talk to. it was almost too easy to develop a little crush on him. romantic relationships between trainees were forbidden, but eunhee was always one to bend or even break the rules to push them in her favor, so she didn’t really care. that was why she didn’t stop with her advances. “oppa,” she greeted kindly when she entered one of bc’s practice rooms, already knowing that he was going to be there. she closed the door behind her, leaning against it with a smile. “getting a little late night practice in?”
