Me writing stuff for me
Yaoi readers and enjoyers of tumblr I have a question
What is the appeal of omegaverse
I do not get it
does anyone beta read for fun or is that like you have to just wait until you befriend another writer so you can stop worrying if youre using every comma ever incorrectly
One thing I always notice while beta reading: the scenes writers think are “small” can sometimes be the ones readers remember most.
That quiet conversation, tiny gesture, or random detail? Yeah… I noticed it.
Sometimes I beta read a chapter and think, “Oh, I know exactly where this is going.”
Then the author hits me with a plot twist I absolutely did NOT see coming.
Honestly? I love being wrong.

A question for authors:
What’s the most unnecessary thing you’ve researched for your book?
Because somewhere out there, a writer has spent 2 hours researching “how long a person can survive in a snowstorm” for a scene that lasts 3 paragraphs.
Writers, be honest
What’s the one thing you’re most nervous about when someone reads your manuscript for the first time?
A. What if they hate my characters?
B. What if the pacing is boring?
C. What if my plot makes no sense?
D. What if they find all the mistakes I missed?
I’m genuinely curious.
Happy new month everyone
Your book walks into a room. What’s the first thing people notice about it?
Not the cover. Not the blurb.
The personality of your story.
Is it: The character who steals every scene?
The tension that refuses to leave?
The atmosphere that feels like a place you’ve lived in?
The emotional damage you didn’t warn readers about?
Describe your book in one “main character energy” sentence.
andddd sometimes u forget to make i good afterwards 💀💀
